ZOM Plans SouthPark Mixed-Use

ZOM

Florida-based ZOM is proposing a mixed-use development at 4401 Barclay Downs Drive, adjacent to SouthPark mall. The development, Hazel SouthPark, would include 266 apartments and 15k SF of retail, plus a clubhouse and amenity space.

An office building dating from the '80s on the 2.7-acre site would be razed to make way for the development, the Charlotte Business Journal reports. A public hearing on the project will probably be later this year. ZOM has developed similar projects in other markets, including Orlando, Houston and Arlington, VA. [CBJ]
