Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel Announces Opening

Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel, a 217-room boutique hotel overlooking Romare Bearden Park and BB&T BallPark, will open Nov. 1.

The 18-story hotel will feature more than 9K SF of event and meeting space, 14 suites and a 1,300 SF presidential suite. The hotel is connected to 300 South Tryon, Spectrum Properties’ new trophy office tower.

A 2K SF rooftop lawn, adjacent to the Merchant & Trade rooftop lounge, will feature a retractable roof and a video wall.

“Kimpton Tryon Park will deliver the unique design, unrivaled service and top-flight amenities our company is known for, but with a distinct local flavor,” Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel General Manager Robert Hannigan said in a statement. “We look forward to opening our doors and sharing Kimpton’s heartfelt hospitality with our guests in Charlotte.”

San Francisco-based Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, part of InterContinental Hotels, operates more than 60 hotels and 70 restaurants, bars and lounges in the United States, Europe and the Caribbean.
