Law Firm Expands At Buckhead Office Building

Law firms have trended toward consolidation for years before the coronavirus pandemic reoriented companies' office space needs, but an Atlanta firm is showing that some firms can still outgrow their space.

Bader Scott Injury Lawyers has signed a 44K SF lease at Lenox Plaza in Buckhead, according to the building's leasing brokerage, Lincoln Property Co. The law firm had previously occupied 17K SF in the nine-story, 101K SF office property on Peachtree Road.

Wildmor Advisors' Michelle Galvani and Jenny O’Donnell represented Bader Scott, which was founded in 2008, in the lease, while LPC's Matt Fergus and Robert deGolian brokered the deal for the landlord, HD Realty.

Bader Scott's activity runs counter to the broader moves among law firms, even in Atlanta, toward smaller offices as more of their work happens digitally. But Atlanta's office market overall is on a strong growth trajectory, with deals for big new spaces for Morgan Stanley, CiscoCarvana and Visa inked in recent months.

CORRECTION, NOV. 30, 10:45 A.M. ET: A previous version of this story incorrectly named Lincoln Property Co. as the owner of Lenox Plaza. HD Realty owns this building. This story has been updated.
