Pollack Shores Targets Buckhead Office for Apartment

Pollack Shores is saying goodbye to an aged mid-rise office building in Buckhead. And in its place will be an apartment project, according to permits filed with the City of Atlanta. The prolific multifamily developer has filed permits to begin site work on 1888 Emery to develop a multifamily building on the site sandwiched between Howell Mill and Collier roads. Called Buckhead West, 1888 Emery is a 30k SF building that's part of a two-building complex. It's unclear if Pollack Shores plans to raze the second building to make way for the apartments. Officials with Pollack Shores did not return calls.
