Branch Properties is moving forward on its Peachtree Battle apartment tower. The firm filed permits to begin construction of a high-rise, 273k SF apartment building with 262 units and more than 6k SF of retail on the ground floor at 2425 Peachtree Road. The deal's green light comes after weeks of negotiations between developers and neighborhood groups that had Branch reduce the size of the building from 21 stories to 17 stories, according to BuckheadView. The site, at the corner of Peachtree Road and Terrace Drive, is adjacent to Peachtree Battle Shopping Center, where Burger King now sits. [BV]
