Summary

  1. Are any of your office tenants, or the clients you work with, having trouble paying rent? What are those conversations like?

  2. How does this compare to past economic downturns you’ve been through, and how long do you think it will take to recover?

  3. How do you think the coronavirus will impact tenant demand for coworking and flex office?

  4. Looking at the type of tenants that make up D.C.’s office market, which sectors do you think are best positioned to weather this storm, and which do you think could face more difficulties?

  5. Do you think this will make D.C.’s office market even more of a tenant-favored market? Do you expect landlords to offer more concessions and bring down rents in some cases?
