Bill Cox is the Senior Director of Planning & Growth for Microsoft’s Healthcare business. He co-founded Microsoft’s Health Next team in 2016 to create an applied research organization focused on innovation at the intersection of healthcare and technology, and has helped grow that organization and Microsoft’s health investment through its recent $19 billion acquisition of Nuance Communications. In addition to other leadership roles at Microsoft in corporate strategy and marketing, Bill has served in several leadership positions at Silicon Valley software companies, including Vice President of Corporate Communications at Informatica, and Director of Strategic Marketing at PeopleSoft.

Jake brings a passion for addressing healthcare real estate holistically as part of the entire continuum of care. His dedication to understanding the new world of healthcare consumerism makes PMB an integral part of our clients’ healthcare strategies and solutions. Jake has been with the firm since 2005 and focuses on the overall vision and strategy of the company including financial, operational, growth, team, and delivery partnerships. Jake specializes in all phases of project development and has been instrumental in the successful completion of more than 2.5 million square feet of space across the continuum of care, 7,000 structured parking stalls, and over $1.5 billion of equity and debt financing. Specifically, Jake is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and leading development opportunities including deal structuring, entitling, financing, and managing ground-up development projects from inception to occupancy. Jake is a LEED® Accredited Professional and has a California real estate broker’s license. He is on the ULI Health Care and Life Sciences Council, an advisory board member of Cal Poly Pomona’s College of Environmental Design, and holds active memberships in the Urban Land Institute (ULI), Cornell Real Estate Council and the U.S. Green Building Council. Jake received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 2003, a Certificate in Real Estate Finance, Investments and Development and a Certificate in Healthcare Transformation from the University of California Irvine.

Rhonda has been devoted to healthcare design solutions for over 20 years with clients from across the country. Beginning her career in Louisville, Kentucky, leading healthcare projects with such clients as Norton Healthcare and Children’s Hospitals across multiple states, she has become an expert in bringing together design, technology, and real estate to help clients deliver optimal care while achieving their business goals. Today, Rhonda is the Director of Workspace Consulting for OpenSquare, leading a specialized team and the strategic vision for the health and wellness division. She has consulted with nearly all major healthcare providers in the region, including Kaiser Permanente, Providence St. Joseph Health, Evergreen Healthcare, Swedish, Virginia Mason, UW Medical Center, and many others. She is also a trusted advisor for multiple healthcare best practice groups. Whether large or small, Rhonda is passionate about helping clients to fulfill their goals by providing environments that support patients, families, and caregivers. As a leader in healthcare design Rhonda has a front line view of how technology, real estate, mergers and the execution of healthcare is changing communities and how people receive healthcare services.
