As President & CEO, Peter oversees all aspects of Nitze-Stagen’s integrated real estate investment and property management activities, as well as its portfolio of properties located in the greater Seattle market, including the iconic SODO Starbucks Center. He brings 25 years of experience in the successful management and growth of companies at every stage of development to his current role. Peter is a co-founder of The Alliance for Safety, Affordability and Preservation (ASAP!), a cross-sector coalition of key stakeholders advocating for legislation to ensure the orderly upgrade of over 1,145 seismically vulnerable unreinforced masonry buildings in Seattle while also creating incentives for owners to help pay for these upgrades. He has also co-founded OZ Navigator which is focused on investing in Opportunity Zone real estate projects in Seattle that catalyze neighborhood revitalization. Peter serves on the Board of Bellwether Housing, a not-for-profit focused on creating housing affordability in Seattle. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, hiking, cycling and other outdoor activities with his four children and two grandsons. He holds a BA degree from Harvard and two master’s degrees in engineering from Stanford.

Kevin Wallace oversees all development and acquisition activity for the company. He is also responsible for all legal matters for the company’s three divisions: Brokerage, Property and Asset Management and Investment/Development. Wallace Properties builds sustainable, transit-oriented mixed-use development projects in urban centers throughout the Puget Sound region. Kevin and his team have developed several award-winning projects including Citizen, a LEED Silver, 107-unit project in the Pike/Pine Triangle of the Capitol Hill neighborhood; 507 Northgate and 525 Northgate which together contain 428 apartment units and 80,000 square feet of retail space; The Eddy, 130 units with 14,500 SF of retail leased to Bartell Drug in the Green Lake neighborhood; and most recently Prism, 134 units with 4 live/work lofts in Northgate. Kevin began his career as a Real Estate Attorney at K&L Gates in 1997, moving to Foster Pepper in 2001.

Marty Kooistra

A champion of place-based strategies for community revitalization in the US and abroad for 27 years, Marty is recognized for progressive work in the areas of sustainable building practices, homebuyer financial readiness, community development, the rehabilitation and preservation of foreclosed and distressed properties, as well as board development and strategic alliances. A first career as founder and CEO of a successful diversified construction business, and a subsequent degree in social work, allowed him to merge his passion for the built environment with his commitment to social justice, and led him directly to the affordable housing sector. Before coming to Seattle in 2008 to lead Habitat for Humanity Seattle/South King County, Marty held several leadership positions with Habitat for Humanity’s international headquarters (HFHI). He then served as Board President of HDC before being appointed as Executive Director in 2013. A past Bush Foundation fellow at the Joint Center for Housing and the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, Marty currently co-chairs the University of Washington’s West Coast Poverty Center Housing Roundtable and serves on the boards of Global Washington, Emerald Cities Seattle, HomeAid Puget Sound, and NACEDA. Previous appointments include All Home’s coordinating board and the City of Seattle’s Housing Affordability and Livability Agenda (HALA) committee.

Lindsey has devoted her career to understanding the legal risks her clients face in the construction industry. Her clients include developers, owners, owner’s representatives, contractors, international multidisciplinary design firms, and local engineering and architecture firms. She takes great pride in offering an integrated suite of services to her clients, providing advice on risk management, contract negotiation, and conflict resolution, as well as defending her clients from claims. Lindsey’s practice spans Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and Arizona and she considers it an honor to counsel her clients as they change the way people live, work and travel in the Pacific Northwest.

Lindsey is deeply engaged with organizations in the field of construction and she holds numerous leadership positions as well as being recognized as an honorary American Institute of Architects (AIA) member. She is a respected leader in her field and a frequent presenter to industry organizations and professionals on a range of construction law topics.
