Virginia Lam Abrams is Senior Vice President, Government Affairs & Strategic Advancement at Starry Inc. Virginia Lam Abrams is a seasoned communications and public affairs executive with two decades of experience working in technology, media and politics. She is Senior Vice President of Communications & Government Relations at Starry, Inc., a technology company focused on re-imagining and revolutionizing how consumers connect to the internet via Starry’s groundbreaking 5G fixed wireless network. In her role at the company, Virginia advocates for and represents Starry in front of governmental agencies at the local, state and federal level and engages with policymakers and the public interest community. She also leads media and analyst relations for the company as well as the company’s digital equity initiative, Starry Connect. Prior to Starry, Virginia served as Senior Vice President of Communications and Government Relations at Aereo, where she spent three years guiding the company’s communications, advocacy and lobbying efforts. Prior to joining Aereo, Virginia was Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at Rubenstein Communications, where she managed a portfolio of clients spanning the media, technology and real estate industries. Prior to joining Rubenstein, she served as a deputy press secretary and spokesperson for New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg during his second term, where she led communications for the Mayors Against Illegal Guns Coalition and managed a portfolio of city agencies including the NYPD, FDNY, Department of Education, and Law Department. In 2010, Virginia served as deputy campaign manager and communications director for the Republican nominee for NYS Attorney General and was recognized by The Capitol as one of the magazine’s “40 under 40 Rising Stars in New York Politics.” Virginia holds a bachelor of science in journalism and political science from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She serves on the board of directors of Public Knowledge and on the advisory board of Engine. Virginia resides in Brooklyn with her husband and children.

Chad Cooley joined Bozzuto Management Company in 1997. He has served in a range of leadership roles throughout the company, including positions in property management, information systems and asset management. In his current role, he oversees Bozzuto’s internal support teams that provide owners and operations teams with expertise in sustainability, business intelligence, compliance, auditing and maintenance and technical services. Chad and these team members work closely with owners and their representatives to ensure the strategic goals and operational requirements for their properties are achieved and asset values are maximized. During his time working in asset management, Chad focused on the refinancing of assets, acquisitions and dispositions of assets and strategic planning for increasing portfolio value. This in-depth property experience has provided him with a unique insight into the importance of providing operations teams with strategic tools that allow properties to operate effectively and efficiently.
