Greg spent more than 30 years working at all levels in corporate and private industries. He graduated from Howard University, Washington, DC, with a BS in Chemical Engineering and began his career with McNeil Consumer Products Company. Greg then joined Merck and Co. Inc., where he received eight promotions and became a member of the research division executive committee. He joined a midsize real estate development company, where he became COO and a member of the executive team. In 2008, Greg co-founded Mosaic Development Partners, and together with his partner, Leslie Smallwood-Lewis, they have developed over $1 Billion in real estate projects and have created hundreds of construction and full-time jobs. Mosaic currently has $7B in real estate in its pipeline.

As President, Daniel oversees Nitze-Stagen’s integrated real estate investment and portfolio management activities, with a particular emphasis on deal sourcing, investment analysis and development oversight. Previous to Nitze-Stagen, Daniel worked as an early stage technology investor at Voyager Capital and as a Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs. In his free time, he enjoys spending time on the water with his wife and two young children. Daniel holds BA degrees from University of Washington in Finance and English and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Marc Schultz's practice is concentrated in federal, local and state taxation matters, including complex transactions involving corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, tax exempt entities, and real property. Marc regularly engages in advising clients with respect to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, formation of private investment funds, tax credit financing, and energy transactions. Marc currently chairs Snell & Wilmer’s Tax Credit Finance Group and Renewable Energy Group, and founded and co-chairs the firm’s Opportunity Zones and Funds Industry Group.

Marc has represented investors, developers, and syndicators with respect to Low-Income Housing Tax Credit transactions, and has represented numerous parties with respect to transactions involving New Markets Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, and Renewable Energy. As part of his renewable energy practice, Marc regularly drafts Power Purchase Agreements.

Marc is a regular speaker and panelist on the subject of tax credit finance and the Opportunity Zone incentive, and has written numerous articles and has been quoted in numerous publications with respect to these subject areas.

Marc is currently representing investors, fund sponsors, and developers with respect to the Opportunity Zone incentive. Marc was involved in the advising and drafting of a number of comment letters that were submitted to the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service regarding the Opportunity Zone proposed regulations.

Marc served as an adjunct professor, teaching taxation of business entities in the Graduate Program of Accountancy, at the University of Illinois-Chicago. Marc also served on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Housing Finance Authority, as an appointment by Arizona Governor Doug Ducey.

Greg Talcott is the Senior Vice President, Private Client, at Caliber Companies. He assists clients in building their wealth and diversifying their income through private equity real estate investments..

Greg came to Caliber after a two-year stint with Scottsdale-based competitor Virtua Partners, where last year he raised more than $100 million in capital investment from high-net-worth individuals, registered investment advisors and institutional entities. He delivers a high level of trust among customers past and present with his background in managing assets and serving as a fiduciary for select private wealth clients at Scottrade-TD Ameritrade, Basilica Wealth Management and Charles Schwab in Arizona, the Pacific Northwest and other key markets for more than 15 years.

During his time at Schwab, he led a team that managed more than $2.5 billion in assets that provided portfolio management and financial planning designed for a particular client suitability.

Greg received a Bachelor of Science degree in Law and Political Science from Arizona State University and holds Series 7, 9, 10, 63 and 66 securities licenses, which include Arizona. He is a registered representative with Caliber Funds, which is affiliated with Tobin & Company Securities, LLC – Member FINRA/SIPC.
