A topic less discussed however, is the elevated cost of living, and how it corresponds with millions of Americans struggling to pay their existing bills. In an industry that has seen the cost of capital escalated over the course of the past two years, and an increasing trend of related loan defaults and associated turning over of keys to lenders, a thought largely unconsidered of in the rush of Multifamily development and deliveries in many markets across the country. This event will detail what the resident base can withstand, and how to mitigate potential defaults from residents themselves.
