He holds a bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, Digital Humanities and Online Publishing from George Washington University.

He currently serves as Vice President of the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association Board of Directors. Jay is a licensed real estate broker in NC, SC, and GA and lives in the Charlotte area.

Paula Cino is Vice President for Construction, Development, Land Use and Counsel with the National Multifamily Housing Council. Based in Washington, D.C., Paula has served the interests of the apartment industry for nearly two decades. Paula is committed to addressing the nation's pressing housing needs through federal advocacy and has a particular focus on issues related to fair housing, regulatory compliance, building codes and standards, housing development and construction. with primary responsibility for federal policy issues related to building design and construction including building codes, fair housing, sustainability, infrastructure and regulatory compliance. Paula earned a Juris Doctorate from Tulane School of Law and is a member of the Maryland State Bar.
