Sophie is the Founder and Director of Keyah Consulting. She works with companies across the built environment to develop their approach to Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations. Sophie is a multidisciplinary expert whose career spans central government, business and academia. She brings this expertise to her additional roles as a Non Executive Director at Trustek, a Trustee for Groundwork London, a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology’s Healthcare Sector Executive, and as a member of the Urban Health Council. Sophie also established the ESG in real estate group on LinkedIn which now has well over 1,000 members.

James Hallworth is Partner and Head of Building Technology at Workman LLP, and the driving force behind IBOS, the firm's specialist building technology division helping property and asset owners get more from their buildings.

James's view is straightforward: most building technology doesn't fail because of a lack of innovation - it fails because responsibility for delivery and performance gets lost somewhere between strategy and site. He works at that intersection, helping asset owners, property and site teams align around real performance outcomes rather than tools, dashboards or assumptions.

Through IBOS, James has seen first-hand where AI and smart systems are genuinely changing how buildings are run - and where the harder, more human parts of leasing and asset management still resist automation. He's equally focused on the barriers slowing adoption across London's office market, from legacy infrastructure and fragmented data to the cultural shifts needed to make "smart" buildings actually work in practice.

James also hosts the Built to Perform podcast, speaking with industry leaders about turning ambition into real-world building performance.

Duncan is the Chief Executive Officer at Immobel Capital Partners, the co-investing manager of

specialist strategies in the Office and Residential sectors with a focus on ESG matters and

making a positive impact on sustainable cities for people. ICP has its HQ in London with team

throughout Europe including France, Germany and Benelux.

Duncan is also an independent Non Executive director to the board’s of the Church

Commissioners and Workspace Group plc as well a senior advisor to Sellar, the developer of

schemes such as the Shard of Glass and Paddington Central in London. In these roles he chairs

the Property Investment Committee and is a member of the Social Impact Investment Committee

and REMCO at the Church Commissioners, which overseas an investment portfolio of

approximately £9 billion.

Duncan was previously the Global Head of Real Estate at Schroders where he spent over nine

years overseeing all its real estate activities and growing its activities across Europe and into

Asia. During his time with the firm he sat as Chairman of the investment committee and was the

CEO of the Schroder Real Estate Investment Management Ltd which is the regulated subsidiary

of Schroders plc. He also held the investment roles as the lead investment manager for Schroder

Real Estate Investment Trust plc for 16 years and he was the CEO of Invista Real Estate

Investment Management (“REIM”) PLC, which he founded and listed on the London Stock

Exchange. The Invista portfolio grew to £10bn and 85%+ of AUM outperformed from 2006 –

2012.

Tommy Hagenes is CEO of Energy Control and works on bridging the gap between Property and Technology. He worked with building automation for 12 years with experience from technician to department manager. The road went on to facility management with a focus on technical management, especially on energy efficient buildings. This lead to a specialization in "Proptech" and sensor technology and by 2020 he was helping hundreds of buildings get smarter at a low cost.
