Why You Can't Miss This Digital Discussion

Why This Matters:

Signed earlier in July, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), has ushered in sweeping reforms on tax policy, spending, and regulation across multiple sectors.

The Bill's ultimate goal? To reignite investment across multiple industry types, from manufacturing to REITs, housing and Opportunity Zones, and much in between.

And while some sectors reap the benefits, other sectors such as clean energy did not. Despite the heft behind these reforms, experts are feeling cautiously optimistic about the Bill's impact on CRE, focusing on the provisions of long-term tax incentives and targeted tools for investment and development.

From 100% bonus depreciation for qualified property types to increased Section 179 limits and enhanced Qualified Opportunity Zone benefits, join Bisnow and CohnReznick as we unpack the following aspects of the Bill and its subsequent impacts on our sector in the years to come:

  • Opportunity Zones

  • Bonus Depreciation

  • Factory Expensing

  • Section 179 Expensing

  • Business Interest Expense
