Hannah moved into the property industry four years ago when she co-founded residential review site, HomeViews. She started her career at GSK, spending seven years at the pharma giant before

joining a luxury skincare startup. As Marketing Director Hannah helped take it from a table-top business to a brand featuring in stores such as Selfridges and Barney’s New York.

In property, she has quickly become an authority on the Build to Rent and PRS sectors.

Brendan Geraghty

CEO

UKAA

Architect, design and development strategist Brendan Geraghty is a recognised Build to

Rent (BTR) thought leader who has been active in the sector since 2011. Brendan is known

for actively championing the integration of consumer culture in BTR with a ‘brand before

building’ approach.

Brendan combines deep generalist and broad specialist knowledge, creating structured

development and consumer centric BTR strategies, integrating consumer culture principles

with investment requirements. He has spent 16 years in senior roles, including with Centred

Architecture, Optim and Geraghty Taylor Architects, before becoming CEO of UKAA (the UK

Apartment Association) in 2022.

Spearheading the UKAA’s leadership through high quality knowledge and research, Brendan

will be supporting the organisation to serve as the voice of the Build to Rent sector in the

UK. He will also explore new relationships with others in the residential sector with an

interest in Build to Rent including housing associations, co-living investors and operators,

contractors and house builders as well as pressing ESG issues such as Net Zero Carbon.

Why This BTR Webinar Matters

Cortland Consult will present findings from its Open and Operating Report, including:

  • A look at the UK BTR market through the lens of those 73,000 units that are physically open and operating, and that were designed for renting.

  • Statistics on developments, operators and locations including unit mix, amenity provisions and current listed rental rates.

  • The overarching trends still current for urban BTR and using this data for future decision-making.

  • Details through an online interactive companion map produced by REalyse (UK) which includes HomeViews Ratings and general market performance commentary.

How You'll Do More Business: You'll gain exclusive insight into the UK's BTR market as Cortland Consult speaks with the collaborators of its upcoming comprehensive and interactive BTR Open and Operating Report.
