As Chief Investment Officer, Mike Altman directs Cortland's investment strategy with a focus on asset management. Mike joined Cortland in 2007 as a development associate and has played an integral role in growing the company, becoming Executive Vice President of Investments in 2010 before assuming his current role in 2013. Over the course of his career with Cortland, he has led many core aspects of the business that have directly influenced Cortland's evolution from a small development company to one of the leading companies in the multifamily industry, including capital raising and portfolio strategy.

His expertise in Cortland’s growth provides a unique perspective on the value of vertical integration, the results of Cortland’s acquisition and renovation strategy, and the influence of a resident-centric approach within the apartment industry.

Mike holds his master's degree in Real Estate from Georgia State University and his bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Georgia. He is a licensed real estate broker and is associated with the Atlanta Multifamily Network and the U.S. Green Building Council.

Natalie is a Partner with a broad range of commercial property experience, specialising in development and property investment transactions for both the public and private sector. Natalie has particular expertise in relation to residential, PRS and student developments. Recent experience includes advising Grainger on a number of projects including the Yorkshire Post site in Leeds and their flagship scheme at Clippers Quay, acting for a developer on the acquisition and development of a 364 room student scheme in Swansea and the sale of 5 residential plots in Putney.

Rick has 40 years’ experience in development and investment in both the residential and commercial sectors, with a particular interest in regeneration and design. Prior to Get Living, Rick was CEO of United House Group and prior to that, CEO of MEPC.

Rick is Non-Executive Chairman of Miller Developments, Non-Executive Director of Altitude Real Estate, Non-Executive Director of Curo Housing Association and Chairman of the Kinetic Foundation Charity.

Jennifer Murray

Jennifer began her career in property investment management at Schroders where she was fund

manager for directly invested funds and multi manager portfolios on behalf of pension fund and

charity clients for over 15 years.

Prior to joining Homes England, where she has responsibility for Institutional Investment, Jennifer

was a fund manager for Tesco Pension Investment.  Here she developed a professional interest in

residential as an institutional investment class having managed overseas investment strategies.

Jennifer is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Investment Property

Forum.

As Senior Regional Principal of Multivista, Karl is responsible for leading both the strategic direction of

Multivista’s UK business and its day-to-day operations. A chartered surveyor by profession, Karl joined

Multivista in 2017 and has subsequently grown the Multivista London and UK operations from the

ground-up. Karl has particular experience in managing large, complex projects and programmes.

Karl is committed to collaborating with clients and partners to deliver their objectives today and to face

the future. He helps organisations take full advantage of digital transformation to improve the efficiency

and productivity of their built assets through best-in-class capabilities in reality-capture.

By adding capital value, driving occupational use, and reducing operational expense; Karl helps owners

and occupiers manage risk and make property a more valuable asset for their organisation.
