Andrew Hynard was appointed Chief Executive of The Howard de Walden Estate in October 2016. The Estate comprises 92 acres of principally residential, medical, office and retail property in Marylebone. It includes the Harley Street Medical Area and Marylebone High Street.

Prior to that he spent the majority of his career at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), where he was UK Deputy Chairman.

He is a former Chairman of the Investment Property Forum, and the RICS Commercial Property Forum. He is a Trustee of University College of Estate Management, Tenterden and District Day Centre and the Tim Henman Foundation, He is on the advisory board of Clipstone.

Eugene Marchese established Guild Living in 2018 with co-founder Michael Eggington. He was also the Founding Principal of Marchese Partners Architects, which he’s guided to tremendous success since its inception in 1994. Under Eugene’s stewardship, Marchese Partners has become one of Australasia’s most successful design practices in the Retirement Living and Aged Care sector, offering a unique mix of innovative age-friendly design solutions with a commercial sensitivity rarely found in design practices.

As well as being a qualified Architect, Eugene has completed post-graduate studies in Business Management at Harvard Business School and Ageing and Dementia Studies at the University of Stirling. He’s now focused on changing the Later Living and Aged Care environments in the United Kingdom through the partnership of Guild Living and Legal & General.

He’s been leading research and development into various ‘best practice’ models around the world and translating those principles into local contexts in a number of countries and cultures. This innovation, together with his passion for the sector, has led Eugene to guest speaking roles on trends in Seniors Living Design in Seniors Living and Aged Care conferences around the globe.

Simon was formerly Head of Land & Development at JLL leading on some of London’s largest land transactions, regeneration and land assembly including Canada Water, Nine Elms and Meridian Water.

Since 2020 Simon has taken the lead on JLL’s UK Health, Later Living and Care business, focussing on better social outcomes through development, in recognition of increasing longevity. Utilising Simon’s significant exposure to the land, planning and development market, JLL is looking to help change the traditional thinking of retirement in later life, and encouraging policy makers and stakeholders to consider the changing needs of society through life. The UK needs a refreshed overview of its future housing needs in order to provide appropriate homes and multiple tenures for all stages and ages, and build more resilient communities.
