Dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes, working on complex programmes across a number of developments, Graham is an ambitious and highly motivated APM qualified project manager with over 17 years’ experience of project and programme management, in client facing roles within property and construction. Previous experience across multiple sectors includes client-side development management of commercial new-build as well as project management experience of prisons, high-end residential, arts & heritage extensions and cut and carve, retail refurbishment programmes and London 2012 Olympics Programme Management.

Emily is a construction and education professional. She is a Director at ESS, an offsite manufacturer, and part of the ISG Group. She is recognised in the industry as a specialist in offsite construction with a focus on Education. With a Masters’ degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Emily has previously held roles for leading construction consultants; Arup and Mott MacDonald. Earlier in her career she taught physics and was head of science and technology at a secondary school, giving her particular insight into teaching and learning. Emily is a director of the Offsite Alliance and was the co-chair of the Manufacturing Workstream for the Construction Leadership Council. Emily enjoys finding out about innovations in the industry through her position as a judge for the Construction News Awards. Alongside sustainable construction, Emily is passionate about promoting diversity in our industry.

Jamie is a Partner at Akerlof, a leading consultancy specialising in advising developers on their strategy and adoption of MMC. He works in both the private and public sector, having advised Government on policy relating to MMC and developing MMC strategies at a department level. With a background delivering major projects contractor side, Jamie has more recently been involved in leading R&D initiatives, not least technical author of the Construction Innovation Hub’s Platform Rulebook.

Neil Pennell is Head of Design Innovation & Property Solutions at Landsec, one of the UK’s

leading property companies. He is responsible for the design and development of innovative,

environmentally sustainable and technically excellent buildings.

Neil is a senior thought leader specialising in technical and innovative solutions for Landsec’s

current and future portfolio, acting as a trusted adviser to the senior executive team.

He is charged with providing strategic advice to the business on sustainable building design,

smart building technology and innovative procurement and construction processes to ensure

Landsec retains its leadership position in the real estate sector.

This involves a wide remit to drive innovation and the application of new technology,

including; Net Zero Carbon buildings, AI, advanced building analytics, Internet of Things, BIM,

P-DfMA, modern methods of construction, smart building and Prop Tech solutions.

Neil is an advocate of sustainable buildings, renewable energy technologies and intelligent

building design. His goal is to create amazing buildings for people; to live, work, shop and

enjoy their leisure time.

Neil sits on the Board of the British Council of Offices (BCO) and chairs the Technical Affairs

Committee which is responsible for producing the BCO’s industry leading technical

publications. He is also chair of the Buildings Clients Group, a director of the Better Buildings

Partnership and a member of the Construction Productivity Task Force.

With a passion for sustainable development, Matt has particular expertise in managing large complex projects with multiple stakeholders. From his experience hosting Gardiner & Theobald’s Modern Methods of Construction discussion series and the industry leading Mass Timber Office Forum, Matt uses his knowledge of the market to bring together experts and develop solutions to the industry’s most complex challenges. In his role as G&T board partner, Matt manages a team of over 100 employees, focused on development projects within the project management division. Matt also sits on the City Property Association’s Skills for a Sustainable Skyline Taskforce, working to ensure we have the skilled people we need to build and maintain a world class Net Zero commercial built environment.
