United States of Wine!
It's that time of year when the American Heart Association has its annual four-day food and wine extravaganza known as Heart's Delight.
We headed to 101 Constitution near the Capitol for United States of Wine to taste top American wines (French wine is tonight). We snapped AHA's Rachel Maleh and Mid-Atlantic Executive Director Soula Antoniou surrounding MRV Communications' Tim Veltman.
The celebration showcased tastings from 18 participating US wineries. Here, Fairfax Co teacher Alison Spurlock, JCR Cos' Eric Butler, Versar Construction's Kevin Spurlock, and his wife, Arlington teacher Mary Jane Spurlock, enjoying the incredible view and great weather.
Guests were also treated to delicious appetizers, including charcuterie with duck prosciutto. Here, defense consultant and Heart's Delight committee member John Brooks joins Lisa and Dave Pianalto.
