The Fourth Meal

Restaurants are launching late night menus left and right. The most recent to add this “fourth meal” is Duke’s Grocery in Dupont Circle. We chatted with partner Daniel Kramer. “Late night options are limited in this neighborhood and customers were literally demanding it,” he tells us. Their late night supper menu features a few familiar dishes like the Proper Burger (pictured) as well as new dishes like Viet Fried Rice and runs Thursday through Saturday nights, from 10:30pm to 1:00am. Other restaurants that have recently debuted late night options include Republic in Takoma Park, BTOO in Logan Circle, Oyamel in Penn Quarter, and Alba Osteria in Mount Vernon Triangle.
