DC Tech Firm LastPass Acquired

Merrifield-based LastPass was acquired last week by LogMeIn, a publicly traded remote management and web conferencing software firm based in Boston. LastPass, whose CEO Joe Siegrist (left) was one of Bisnow’s 30 Under 40 winners in 2013, is a specialist in password management and single sign-on capabilities. The company was bought for $110M in cash and another $15M if the company meets certain targets. [Fortune]
