Seth Hurwitz's 6,000-seat concert hall will not be the only live music venue to open at The Wharf this fall.

New details have emerged about a 300-person bar and live music venue opening on The Wharf's entertainment-focused Pearl Street.

Pearl Street Warehouse, from the owners of Southwest DC restaurant Cantina Marina, will showcase live music every night of the week. The 4k SF venue will feature a bar and diner, which will stay open from breakfast through the end of each night's show.

The venue's music offerings will feature artists who play rock, blues, roots, bluegrass and country. Its owners plan to bring in local bands and popular artists coming through DC on tour.

“Pearl Street Warehouse is our ode to some of the great music venues of DC’s past,” owner Bruce Gates said in a release. “We’re building the venue that DC needs, and a place where we want to go every night: an authentic experience where the music is the focus and the atmosphere is one that is genuine and comfortable.”
