Last Night in Vegas
We're going to make an exception to the usual rule about reporting what goes on here in the Nevada desert—because this is a great cause, dear to the heart of the real estate community: more retail tenants!
Last night, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser (here with DC Economic Partnership chief Keith Sellars and EagleBank CEO Ron Paul) welcomed several hundred guests to Washington's "WeDC" outdoor party at the SLS Hotel, in connection with an annual national retail convention held at the Convention Center.
United Bank EVP Kurt Marx and Douglas Development's Norman Jemal.
At another party last night: Perkowitz & Ruth Achitects' David Sheldon with Peterson Cos' Taylor Chess at Aria's Bardot Brasserie.
Back to WeDC: Even ex-DC mayors were on hand—that would be Adrian Fenty, left, not two publishers whom we had trouble identifying, but believe are Margot and Mark Bisnow. Tonight: The Bisnow Beltway Bash at the Wynn Hotel's Tryst nightclub. See tomorrow's Scene for full coverage. (Unless we sleep too late.)
