The National Beer Wholesalers Association’s Christmas tree is full of toys for the Campagna Center’s annual toy drive. The organization also donated coats to 27 students at a school in Alexandria, VA, where the NBWA is based. NBWA has partnered with the Campagna Center, which offers educational and social development programs in Alexandria, for 14 years.

The National Restaurant Association has a long-standing relationship with Miriam’s Kitchen. NRA staff head to its kitchen in Foggy Bottom to prep, cook and serve meals during dinner time the second Monday of each month. NRA spokeswoman Christin Fernandez and colleague Lexa Lemieux snapped this kitchen selfie during a recent visit. The organization also hosted a dinner in its test kitchen on behalf of Miriam’s Kitchen.

National Restaurant Association public affairs SVP Sue Hensley also tells us the organization supports the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. NRA “adopted” 22 children via the program and provided nearly 100 gifts from their wish lists. Sue says the 80-person office bought all kinds of goodies, including scooters, bikes, games, shoes and clothing. What’s your association doing to give back over the holidays?
