  Noah Silverman is Chief Development Officer, North America Full Service Hotels for Marriott International, Inc. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the development process in the United States and Canada for the Marriott, JW Marriott, Westin, Renaissance, Le Meridien, Sheraton, Delta, Gaylord, Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, EDITION, W and Bvlgari brands and The Luxury Collection, Autograph Collection, and Tribute Portfolio. Prior to his current role, Mr. Silverman served as Senior Vice President, Global Asset Management, where he led Marriott's asset management efforts on a worldwide basis. Before that, he was Senior Vice President, Development Asset Management, providing overall global leadership in managing hotel deals from the time a transaction is signed through opening. Before that, Mr. Silverman was Senior Vice President, Project Finance, where he led a variety of complex transactions, including seeking outside investors to own Marriott’s company-owned hotels subject to long-term management agreements. Mr. Silverman joined Marriott in July 1997 in the Marriott Law Department. In June 2002, he became Vice President, Global Asset Management, where he negotiated a number of transactions to preserve and enhance the stability and value of Marriott’s long-term management and franchise agreements. Prior to joining Marriott, Mr. Silverman was an associate with the law firm of Covington & Burling in Washington, D.C. He holds an A.B. from Princeton University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

  Jack Hall joined Buxton with 14 years of experience in multiple aspects of project and portfolio management, program management, client services, and support, including the disciplines of technical publishing, software, knowledge base management, and retail modeling and analytics. His most recent position was that of Director of Client Services for Experian, where he directed client services for the market planning division. As Vice President of Buxton’s Account Management team, Jack assists clients with more technical and complicated projects for the retail and healthcare divisions.   Dave Pollin is the Co-Founder and President of The Buccini/Pollin Group (“BPG”), co- headquartered in Washington, DC and Wilmington, DE. He also serves as Chairman of PM Hotel Group, the hotel management affiliate of BPG. Mr. Pollin leads the firms’ hotel acquisition, development and capital markets efforts. The Buccini/Pollin Group has acquired and developed over $5 billion of properties in every real estate asset class throughout the United States since its founding in 1993. BPG is the developer, owner and operator of over 50 hotels, seven million square feet of office space, 15 major residential communities, numerous retail properties, and multiple sports/entertainment venues.   Chip Ohlsson is executive vice president and chief development officer, North America, for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel-franchising company. In this role, he is responsible for the development strategy for Wyndham’s 22 brands across North America, identifying and building strategic partnerships to position Wyndham in new markets and increase presence in existing markets. Ohlsson is also responsible for strengthening and expanding relationships with owners and key ownership groups including real-estate investment trusts, developers and financial institutions with hospitality portfolios.   Brian Friedman is the CEO of BOA Acquisition Corp, a newly organized blank check company whose purpose is to pursue acquisition opportunities in PropTech and to find technological solutions to unlock real estate opportunities. Brian is also a partner at his namesake firm, Friedman Capital and the co-founder and managing partner of Foxhall Partners. In these roles Brian oversees the real estate investing practice and leads his firms in opportunistic, value- added, core-plus equity. The firms actively participate in debt investments in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, with a primary focus on urban and infill neighborhoods. Currently Brian owns commercial, residential, retail, and/or hospitality properties in Charleston, South Florida, California, Washington D.C. and New Mexico. In addition, he develops lifestyle properties in senior housing and student housing sectors.   Samantha Ahuja focuses her practice on hotel acquisitions, operations, development and finance, hotel management agreements, licensing agreements, and commercial real estate acquisition and sale.   Michael L. Blank is a Principal at Woodmont Lodging. Mr. Blank has over 20 years of lodging industry experience including real estate investments, capital markets, hospitality and tourism consulting and hotel operations. Prior to co-founding Woodmont Lodging in 2015, Mr. Blank was an executive at RLJ Lodging Trust (NYSE: RLJ) where he had portfolio analysis, transaction, and corporate finance responsibilities. Most recently, Mr. Blank managed the company's Business Intelligence function, which was responsible for portfolio data analysis. During his tenure at RLJ, Mr. Blank formalized and expanded RLJ’s business analytic function, enhancing the data collection and reporting processes of over 125 hotels and 16 different management companies. Mr. Blank also held positions in Asset Management with oversight of a portfolio of focused-service Marriott and Hilton branded hotels and in Investment and Portfolio Analysis underwriting over $2.4 billion in potential lodging transactions. Additionally, he managed the successful closing of multiple acquisitions and dispositions. Prior to joining RLJ in 2010, Mr. Blank worked in acquisitions and dispositions at Host Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: HST) and in equity research at FBR Capital Markets covering publicly-traded lodging REITs.   Edward Hoganson is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Investment Officer of Crestline Hotels & Resorts, a leading hotel management company. Crestline manages 130 upscale hotels across the country, including over two dozen properties in Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Ed rejoined Crestline in 2019, from Hospitality Investors Trust, Inc. (HIT), a public hospitality REIT, where he served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, assembling a $2B plus portfolio of over 140 hotels. Ed’s career with Crestline and its affiliated companies spans more than 15 years. During this time, he helped create three public hospitality companies, acquire multiple management companies and source toilet paper during the beginning of the pandemic. Ed began his career with Deloitte and then joined Marriott International where he held various finance positions during the six years before beginning with what was then Crestline Capital.   Julienne Smith is currently Senior Vice President Development – Luxury & Upscale, and Transactions & Asset Management for Intercontinental Hotel Group where she oversees the company’s growth in North America. She was Senior Vice President Development & Owner Relations for Hyatt Hotels Corporation based in Chicago from 2014 until 2019 where she was responsible for the franchised and managed development of Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels in the United States and Canada. Previously, Julienne served as Vice President of Real Estate and Development where she oversaw the growth of Hyatt’s select service brands throughout the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.   David Kuperberg is the Head of Development, Dream Hotels at Hyatt. In this role, Kuperberg is responsible for the continued growth and success of Dream Hotel Group’s portfolio of lifestyle brands, which includes Dream Hotels, Time Hotels, The Chatwal and Unscripted Hotels, in emerging and established markets worldwide. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Development for Virgin Hotels prior to joining Dream Hotel Group in 2013. Kuperberg started his hospitality career in 2004 as Senior Director of Mergers and Acquisitions with Wyndham Worldwide Corporation, where he oversaw the acquisition of Ramada International from Marriott, which included more than 200 hotels and resorts worldwide and later launched Wyndham’s international hotel business. He was then appointed to Vice President of Global Development and Strategy where he achieved great success leading the acquisition of the TRYP brand from Sol Melia, representing 94 hotels across Europe and South America, as well as a joint venture with Malta-based Corinthia Group to acquire and rebrand its 15 European hotels under Wyndham flags. Prior to joining Wyndham, Kuperberg served as an associate for True North Capital, a New York-based private equity group and merchant bank that provides financing solutions to companies in the U.S. and Europe. He also worked as a strategy consultant for Computer Sciences Corporation, where he gained invaluable experience in the Management Consulting division.   Tyler Morse is Chairman and CEO of MCR, which comprises three discretionary funds and is the 4th largest hotel owner-operator in the United States. With $4 billion of assets under management, MCR owns and operates 125 hotels (20,000 guestrooms) across 33 states and has developed landmark properties such as the TWA Hotel at JFK Airport. Prior to founding MCR in 2006, Mr. Morse was the President of Bliss, the upscale spa and beauty products company. He previously served as Assistant to the Chairman and CEO of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Barry Sternlicht, and contributed to Starwood’s overall corporate investment and development initiatives. Mr. Morse earned his CPA at Ernst & Young LLP and worked as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley in its Financial Sponsors and Mergers and Acquisitions Group. Mr. Morse got his start as a baggage handler for Delta Airlines at LAX. He was a ski instructor at Squaw Valley USA in Lake Tahoe and at Termás de Chillán in Chile.   David Pepper

  David Pepper is chief development officer for worldwide lodging franchisor Choice Hotels International, Inc. A member of the senior executive team, he is responsible for driving unit growth for each of the company’s brands in key markets worldwide. Mr. Pepper has been responsible for leading franchise sales to record levels during his tenure at Choice. Mr. Pepper joined Choice in 2002 as vice president of franchise sales and development for the company’s new construction brands, and became senior vice president of franchise development for North America in 2004. In this role, Mr. Pepper led Choice’s acquisition of Suburban Extended Stay, and served as an integral part of the team that launched the Cambria hotels & suites brand. While adding these brands to the Choice portfolio, Mr. Pepper took on additional roles in brand strategy and operations of the company’s upscale and extended-stay brands, including marketing, design and construction, franchise development, franchise services and quality assurance. Mr. Pepper was named to his current position as chief development officer in November 2015 after serving as senior vice president, global franchise development, since 2009. Prior to Choice, Mr. Pepper spent six years with US Franchise Systems as vice president of franchise sales for Hawthorn Suites and Microtel Inns. He also spent five years with Holiday Inn Worldwide as director of franchise sales.   Sean Stadler, FAIA, LEED AP is a Design Principal and Managing Principal of WDG where he focuses on elevating the firm’s stature in design, with particular emphasis on enhancing the civic realm. He is directly responsible for leading the planning, re-zoning and design of complex, high-profile urban projects, bolstering WDG’s reputation for sustainable and distinctive, mid- and high-rise structures with contemporary urban sensitivity. Mr. Stadler’s diverse experience includes commercial, residential, hospitality, educational, and sporting facilities. He is a member of the AIA College of Fellows, and he has been honored with an AIA President’s Award for his service to the profession and was recognized as one of the “rising stars of the AEC industry” by Building Design + Construction Magazine in 2009. He is a recipient of the 2011 AIA Young Architects award where the jury noted that “he is a unique individual of outstanding talent and clear commitment.”

  Marc Magazine’s hotel experience began when his family owned the renowned Hay Adams Hotel in Washington, DC. As General Manager Marc had the hotel accepted into The Leading Hotels of the World. His hospitality experience includes economic and market-based consulting, financing, investment analysis, venture structuring, management selection, contract negotiation and strategic planning. Before joining Savills to lead its hospitality practice in the US, Marc was a Principal of Humboldt Hospitality Advisors, LLC, a full service hospitality company he co-founded with Tom Baker and Justin Magazine. Before Humboldt, Marc was Senior Vice President with CBRE and led its Hotel Practice in the Mid- Atlantic region. Marc has had a lead role in over $4.5 billion in hotel transactions involving properties throughout the US, Canada and the Caribbean. Marc is known for his creativity and ability of structuring highly complicated transactions. Marc and his team recently sold a three property portfolio in Washington DC to three separate buyers. He is Past President of Big Brothers of the National Capital Area and is currently on the Board of Trustees for The National Jewish Hospital in Denver, CO. He is also on the advisory board for the University Of Denver’s Hotel School. Marc was previously a Faculty member of Georgetown University for their Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate where he taught Hotel Valuation.
