Tech startups in Downtown San Diego now have another place to incubate. Recently, CONNECT (which catalyzes tech and life sciences products in San Diego County) partnered with Co-Merge Workplace, a co-working space Downtown. CONNECT VP Ruprecht von Buttlar tells us the partnership will provide incubation and business acceleration for startup and early-stage companies in Co-Merge’s Downtown space.
The partnership will also allow potential investors access to a variety of startups, Ruprecht says. Combining the CONNECT programming expertise with Co-Merge’s collaborative environment will result in faster time-to-market for emerging companies. Co-Merge is a first-come, first-serve community space with both high- and low-top desks and a capacity of 40 seats. We know it well: Bisnow’s own Sean Spear works there when he needs a chair and desk.
