Kilroy Realty has received approval from the San Diego City Council for its 1.4M SF, $750M mixed-use One Paseo at Del Mar Heights Road and El Camino Real, the San Diego Union Tribune reports. The project will include office, residential and retail space. Kilroy's Jamas Gwilliam tells us the firm is shooting for a Q4 construction start.

Kilroy faced a six-year process to get One Paseo approved, but during that time, the firm did secure some tenants, including True Food Kitchen, Pinstripes (a bocce/bowling concept) and Puesto. Jamas previously told us the retail should feed office demand for the project. "With the City Council approval we received last night, we are actively resuming our leasing activities," he says.
