Hogan Lovells Law Firm To Move And Expand Within Center City

Placeholder

New York-based law firm Hogan Lovells has announced it is moving its Philadelphia location from 1835 Market St to a larger space in the BNY Mellon Tower.

Hogan Lovells' current space is a little bigger than 13k SF, and its new digs will occupy about 35k SF at the skyscraper at 1735 Market, just a block away. It's an 11-year lease for what amounts to one and a half floors of the 54-story building, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The move, part of Hogan Lovells' expansion in the Philadelphia region, stands to help somewhat soften the blow the Mellon Tower felt when FMC moved to its new FMC Tower and its eponymous tenant, BNY Mellon, scaled back its tenancy in the building within the last year. [Philly]
