Bixby Adds to SoCal Portfolio

Bixby Land Co, which is eager to remake SoCal office properties into creative space--just as it’s done in NorCal--has acquired the 79k SF 15771 Redhill Ave for $13.3M, GlobeSt reports. Previously, Bixby president Bill Halford told Bisnow the company intends to keep expanding in SoCal creative office. The company now estimates that it’s going to spend more than $11M to renovate Redhill into a space that will appeal to creative-minded tenants, as well as add 10k SF of new space. The seller, a local LLC, was repped by Voit Commercial’s Mike Hartell. Bixby repped itself in the deal.
