Pentagon City Mall's $70M Expansion Lands Major Tenant

The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City has a new tenant for its $70M expansion: Zara. The fashion retailer has signed a deal to lease 27k SF of the 50k SF expansion on South Hayes Street, part of the mall's plan to add more street-facing retail as the area grows. Zara will be joined in the new space by Kiko Milano Cosmetics, leasing just over 1k SF, the Washington Business Journal reports. Trendy pizza restaurant Matchbox will also be part of the retail mix to engage the street in Arlington's prime shopping district. [WBJ]
