Coming soon to DC, a historic hospital is being converted into luxury apartments. The residential conversion will have 143 luxury apartments on four floors, with two levels of underground parking and an open roof deck. Meanwhile, a frozen yogurt shop in Georgetown will be demoed and replaced by a Beard Papa's cream puff bakery, the Washington Business Journal reports. A Georgia Avenue building will also be making way for a four-story, eight-unit condominium. And on Morse Street an existing two-story single-family home will become a three-story, three-unit multifamily building. Here's a look at what's happening:
700 Constitution Ave NE: A part of the historic Capitol Hill Hospital building will become 143 luxury apartments.
1332 Wisconsin Ave NW: The interior of a former Georgetown frozen yogurt store will be demoed to make way for Beard Papa's.
1326 Florida Ave NE (pictured): Sheeting and shoring for a 45-unit apartment building.
4326 Georgia Ave NW: Sheeting and shoring for a four-story, eight-unit condominium.
1125 Morse St NE: Conversion from a two-story, single-family home to a three-story, three-unit multifamily.
