Thirty-eight executives, founders and rising stars are being honored for their achievements in a pivotal year for South Florida as the region cements its status as a core market despite rising costs and economic uncertainty.

From tariff-policy whiplash stalling projects to soaring costs forcing Miami developers to sell entitled sites, South Florida has faced no shortage of challenges this year. Yet these women pushed ahead, seizing opportunities to drive commercial real estate forward.

Women are steadily gaining ground in the male-dominated industry, now accounting for about 30% of the workforce, according to a 2024 Bisnow investigation.

This year’s 38 honorees — up from 20 last year — span five categories reflecting the breadth of roles essential to South Florida’s real estate success, from legal and accounting to construction and development.

The awards recognize Excellence in Legal or Accounting, CRE and Residential Brokerage, Women in Development, Women in Construction, Leader of the Year and VIP.
