This week we headed to tech row—aka New Montgomery Street, home to Reddit, Yelp and the like—to catch up at RECON's monthly event. The power couple behind the construction networking group is Sharon and Dave Conner (in the blazer), with dricrete owner Tim Yeiser, who was in town this week from LA, and SKS construction manager Lee Ishida enjoying some red.
The House of Shields itself has a resilient real estate story. In existence since 1908, it got an extensive restoration soon after it celebrated its centennial and reopened for business. In keeping with tradition, there is no clock on the premises—or a TV. (So there were likely lots of seats during the Warriors games.)
