Last week, Bisnow stopped by ICSC's New York National Conference in Manhattan, where we snapped Fameco Real Estate's Carlo Caparruva, Dan Spector, and COO Michael Levin at their booth. Good news: the firm's offices in Plymouth Meeting and Center City Philadelphia continue to see improved leasing activity, they tell us. In Center City Philadelphia and the suburban markets, retailers are expanding, restaurants are clamoring for space (that should be a CRE reality show; restaurants fighting for space, literally), new concepts are ready to roll out, and landlords are discussing ground-up development opportunities. It's retail clients like Walmart, Five Below, Chipotle, Nordstrom Rack, and LA Fitness continue to expand.
