SL Green's Alexandra Bogen and James Kleeman tell us that the 60k-SF space now hosts a variety of 40 tenants, including Internet start-ups like Blogher and mio.tv to law and entertainment firms. Right now, the building is home to the support staff of Jennifer Aniston's new movie, The Baster, which is currently filming. (No Jennifer sightings that day, however). |
| Alexandra told us that its biggest competition now is sublease space, but many tenants don't realize that executive suites are just as (or even more) affordable than traditional space. eEmerge space comes with all the typical office amenities, such as mail service, IT, meeting rooms, and comes with the added bonus of a tenant-accessible terrace. The unique mix of tenants has also led to JV partnerships and even a company acquisition between tenants, James adds. |
