Monte Carlo Night!

The second annual Monte Carlo Game Night from Building Hope is quickly approaching. The May 6 event, presented by the City of Hope's Los Angeles Real Estate Council Building Hope group, looks to raise money for pediatric research. BH Properties' Steve Jaffe, who also is president of the LARE, tells us the goal is to raise $60k at the event, which will include various casino games, and perhaps most importantly, an open bar. Building Hope was founded in 2011 to help create young leadership for the LARE, which has been working with City of Hope for more than 20 years.

Building Hope president Ada Chan, a VP with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, tells us last year's event raised more than $40k and had more than 175 attendees. She expects more than 250 at the event this year. Tickets run $150 and Ada says they are still looking for additional sponsors. Monte Carlo Game Night will take place on May 6 at The Mark, 9320 W Pico, starting at 7pm. More information can be found here.
