Renovations At Yamashiro To Start This Summer

When the Yamashiro property and the Hollywood Hills Hotel & Apartments were bought back in March for nearly $40M, no one was exactly sure what the deal meant for its future.

Now more information has been revealed about the plans for the historic property, which was purchased by 1999 Sycamore LLC, a hospitality investment and development firm in Asia owned by China's J.E. Group.

The plans for the reno are not expected to deviate much from the current look and feel of the property. Renovations could begin later this summer or by the early fall, according to Eater LA.

Along with not making any major changes, the new owner also plans to restore the popular Thursday night Yamashiro Farmer's Market. [ELA]
