A new hotel will soon rise out of a long-vacant site at 100 Ocean Blvd in Long Beach.
The Long Beach City Council has approved a 427-key, 25-story hotel from Seattle’s American Life LLC. American Life bought the site from the City of Long Beach for $7M.
The hotel would have 19k SF of event space and meeting rooms, 8k SF of restaurant space, a swimming pool and other amenities, according to the Long Beach Business Journal.
The one-acre property was previously owned by the former Long Beach Redevelopment Agency.
The site is adjacent to the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center. [LBBJ]
