Six-Story Hotel Planned for Heart of Hollywood

Locally based AJ Khair Development and Construction has released renderings of a proposed six-story, 159-key hotel planned for 1925 Wilcox Ave in Hollywood, between Franklin Avenue and the 101/Hollywood Freeway.

Designed by Gene Frong Associates, the project includes nearly 3k SF for an on-site restaurant/bar. There’s also a fitness center, computer lounge, second-story deck with a pool and spa, and two levels of subterranean parking, Urbanize LA reports.

The project cannot get underway until the developer secures variances from the City of LA, so no timeline is available. The project also requires demo of an auto-body repair shop now on the site. [ULA]
