Lizard In Los Angeles has proposed building a 28-story, 150-room boutique hotel on a skinny lot in Downtown LA’s Historic Core, now known as the South Broadway District. New York’s Lizard Capital holds the majority stake in the project and is serving as developer.

Buffalo, NY- based Adam Sokol Architectural Practice has released plans for this lifestyle hotel at 633 S Spring St to the City of Los Angeles Planning Department. According to recently published environmental documents, the tower’s first 12 stories jut forward flush with the sidewalk and match the height of adjacent buildings, but the building overall is 325 feet tall.

Plans call for a 6.1k SF fine dining restaurant, 1.57k SF of retail space and a 3.31k SF rooftop bar. Due to the narrow nature of the lot there will be no onsite parking. The developer, however, plans to offer curbside valet service that will use an existing parking at a garage a block away. The hotel is expected to open in 2017.  [ULA]
