LOOKING UP IN MIDTOWN

With the first phase?s official opening just a few weeks away, Daniel Leasing VP Doug Guedry continues to fill space at 12th & Midtown, the $2 billion mixed-use development on Peachtree. In addition to office tenants Boston Consulting Group (which in February moved early into the top two floors)  and  Seyfarth Shaw(taking three floors in April), Doug also has signed leases from Servcorp and CB2, as well as STK, Ri Ra Irish Pub, and international pizzeria Piola, which opened its first Atlanta location this week. And of course, there's that LOI from Fisher & Phillips to take two floors in November. 12th & Midtown also has 400 condos, with 100 units sold. Daniel controls two neighboring parcels with partner Selig Enterprises, and is exploring the possibility of another office building or hotel, as well as more retail or residential space.

Elsewhere in the project, the new 414-room Loews Atlanta Hotel is also prepping for its grand opening, set for April 1, so it's not surprising that some very important people could be found checking everything out in the lobby. Here, Doug is flanked by Daniel?s head of property management Rick Amon (left) and Loew?s marketing director Steve Spivak  in front of the hotel.
