Here's Where The Biggest Rent Hikes In Brooklyn Were This Past Month

The monthly average rent increased by 0.25% from February to March, according to the latest Brooklyn Rental Market Report, which compares fluctuation in the borough's rental data on a monthly basis. 

Year-over-year, rents increased by 0.45%, from $2,711.22 in March 2015 to $2,723.46 in March 2016. The inventory rose by 3.84%, from 3,303 rental units in February to 3,430 in March.

Brooklyn Heights saw the largest rent hike this month, going up by 2.31% from February to March, while Crown Heights and Prospect Lefferts Gardens saw the biggest increases in annual rents, at 12.4% and 9.2%, respectively.
