Up Close with Newmark Grubb's Kevin Lachoff

Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Kevin Lachoff loves seeing others discover Culver City as a Westside destination to live, work, dine, shop, and play. That's why we're delighted that he'll be a panelist tomorrow at our Future of Culver City: LA's Next Big Submarket, Bisnow's first-ever afternoon program. Refreshments and networking begin at 5 pm at Eastham Station, 3525 Eastham Dr in Culver City.

Culver City and real estate are both family traditions—Kevin is seen here with mother-in-law (Culver City historian and a founding member of the Culver City Historical Society) Julie Lugo Cerra. As excited about the Future of Culver City as Kevin is, he also takes time to learn about its past as the Historical Society’s photographer.

This past spring, Kevin took to the sky in a chartered helicopter, doors off, to shoot aerial pictures of the city and some of its most familiar properties, along with some of his team’s listings. Photography and film production was Kevin’s original career path (check out the IMDB page), but a decade ago the call of real estate drew him to join his father, David Lachoff, along with David Ghermezian and later Jonathan Dadourian, now all at NGKF.

When not at home in Culver City, Kevin, wife Michele, and kids Nicholas (5), and toddler Samantha might be off in Lake Arrowhead, on the local slopes in Big Bear, or off to the beach for some outdoor fun.
