Yesterday, Bisnow was granted a behind-the-scenes look at the $16M redevelopment underway at Park Towers in Uptown at 610 and Post Oak Boulevard. The renovation, designed by Ziegler Cooper Architects and executed by O'Donnell Snider Construction, is apparent on arrival, with hospitality-like finishes and a welcoming concierge layout.

The best part of the building is the spectacular view from any side, shown off here by TPMC COO/EVP & Park Towers Manager Steven M. Seltzer with Marketing Director Christina Shamaly. The building is situated to provide views of every Houston skyline. The amount of green space across Houston is on beautiful display from any angle. The redevelopment is scheduled to finish before the end of the year. Colliers principal Bob Parsley is handling leasing for the 300k-plus SF of Class-A office space available, including two contiguous blocks of 111k SF.

Much of the redevelopment is centered around the construction of a premier fitness facility and conference center. Steven says the fitness center will be comparable to a spa. With state-of-the-art equipment, spacious interiors and luxurious restrooms, tenants will want to enjoy the health club atmosphere daily.

Touting two interconnected rooms, WiFi presentation technology and flat-screen TVs, the conference center provides a top-notch meeting area that will leave a lasting impression. The building is also getting brand-new Thyssen Krupp elevators, WiFi in the lobbies and updated security technology. To further Park Towers rebranding efforts, a marketing center will soon be complete on the premises.

Automatic fixtures, efficient destination-based elevator technology and plans to convert the entire building to LED lighting has earned Park Towers LEED-EB Gold and made it an Energy Star Rated Class-A Building.
