Why You Should Attend This Senior Living Real Estate Event

What You'll Learn:

  • Once one of the nation's most pandemic-impacted asset classes, demand is returning for senior housing facilities. How are investors navigating the increased interest through recent acquisitions?

  • From assisted living to memory care, what are senior housing operators and property managers  viewing as the most in-demand spaces for today's senior?

  • From Dupont Circle to Chevy Chase, what DMV submarkets are ripe for senior housing development opportunities, and what's drawing residents to these locations?

  • How are local and national policies ensuring accessible, affordable senior housing for all residents?

How You'll Do More Business: From major to risk to major recovery, experts are starting to see the senior housing sector re-emerge as a CRE darling after the devastating impact of the pandemic. According to NIC, occupancy rates are back up to 81.5% in the largest 31 U.S. markets in the latter half of 2023. While still below the first quarter of 2020, the Wall Street Journal reports that rent increases look promising and outpacing inflation. While the U.S. Census Bureau reports there are about 73 million baby boomers, NIC data shows only 10,000 new units were delivered last year, the lowest number in a decade - indicating a major supply shorter as demand is expected to grow.

Join senior housing's top owners, developers, researchers, investors, policy-makers, and more to learn about how the DMV is preparing for the wave of demand for new senior housing opportunities.
