Mark is vice president for CDUS in the Washington metro area. His responsibilities include the pursuit, acquisition and execution of development projects. He oversees project development teams and supports the executive vice president/area manager in growing Skanska’s development business throughout the region.

Mark has more than 20 years of industry experience and has worked with site acquisition, site planning, design, development, construction management and the disposition of income-producing properties. He previously served as regional director of development for JPI, a national development firm. Mark’s development experience includes land, office, retail, multifamily and hotel development projects, primarily in the Washington and Baltimore markets.

Mark holds a Masters of Architecture degree from The Catholic University of America and a Masters of Engineering Management degree from The University of California at Berkeley.

John joined AREP in 2011 as Managing Director of Asset Management. In his role, John oversees all aspects and the execution of the long-term capital for half of AREP’s total portfolio. Before joining AREP, John was a Senior Associate at The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG). He was responsible for managing a team of professionals supporting a $2 billion diversified real estate portfolio. Before joining The Carlyle Group, John was an Associate with Morgan Stanley’s Real Estate Private Equity practice. He managed a 3.6 million SF diversified real estate portfolio and negotiated and closed more than $900 million in disposition transactions. John got his start in real estate at Ernst & Young as a consultant in EY’s Real Estate Consulting and Advisory service line.

John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Miami (FL) and a Master of Science degree in Taxation with a Finance concentration from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. He is actively involved as a member of the Urban Land Institute and serves as a local Boy Scouts of America troop leader.

Mark Witschorik is a Director of Asset Management, Digital Asset Strategy at Jamestown. Mr. Witschorik leads the teams responsible for the Mid-Atlantic region, its strategic direction, and performance. Previously, he led the regional portfolio efforts and joint venture activities for Columbia Property Trust in several East Coast markets including Washington, D.C. and Boston. Mr. Witschorik began his career at the J Street Companies and later Akridge, holding a number of acquisition, development, and related roles. Mr. Witschorik is an active member of DCBIA, NAIOP, and ULI. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.

As Chief Operating Officer, Jennifer Burns drives operational excellence and strategic innovation across Monday Properties' diversified real estate portfolio. She leads operations and asset management spanning property management, information technology, leasing and marketing, while providing strategic oversight of the firm's portfolio, including 8,000 multifamily units and 2.5 million square feet of office space.

Jennifer plays a pivotal role in the firm's acquisition strategy, leading strategic due diligence and capital allocation decisions that inform critical investment opportunities. She oversees major capital improvement initiatives across the portfolio, driving strategic enhancements that elevate property value and optimize tenant experience.

Recognized as a leader in proptech innovation, Jennifer directs implementation of wellness certifications and sustainability initiatives, including Fitwel, LEED and Energy Star programs. She has established strategic partnerships with industry leaders to deploy cutting-edge technology solutions that create competitive advantages and drive portfolio performance.

Since joining Monday Properties in 2011, Jennifer has been recognized as a standout industry leader. Prior to joining Monday Properties, Jennifer was a property manager at CB Richard Ellis, managing day-to-day operations of a 1 million square foot portfolio in Rosslyn. Earlier in her career, she was a Community Manager at Archstone-Smith managing several multifamily units in Fairfax and Arlington, Virginia.

Jennifer holds a bachelor's degree in government and international politics from George Mason University and serves in leadership roles with industry associations including IREM Chapter 77 and AOBA.

Pillsbury partner James Bobotek concentrates his practice on a variety of construction and

Jamie guides clients through all phases of development and construction of commercial properties,

Deployed novel theory to defeat insurance carrier effort to align parties to create federal court jurisdiction,

creating favorable new law in removal disputes with insurance carriers.

Represented a telecommunications provider in successful prosecution of its claims against its E&O

insurer confirming coverage for class action claims alleging cyber-related activities.

Obtained significant recovery under a builders risk policy on behalf of a contractor for a delay claim

John Clarkson is a Senior Managing Director for Greystar Real Estate Partners, where he oversees all conventional, student, and active adult housing development activity in the Mid-Atlantic Division, which includes Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Before joining Greystar in 2019, John was a Senior Vice President with JBG Smith Properties, where he led mixed-use development projects within the Washington, DC metropolitan area. John began his career as an Analyst with the JBG Companies. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute's Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Product Council and the National Multifamily Housing Council. He previously served as the President of the DC Real Estate Group. John received his Bachelor of Arts in History and Spanish from Vanderbilt University and his master’s degree in business administration from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina.

Mr. Thompson leads the Washington DC Region for LCOR as Executive Vice President and is responsible for sourcing and implementing new development and redevelopment opportunities. As a member of LCORs Executive Committee and Investment Committee he is also involved with the management and strategic vision for the company.

He has more than 25 years of experience in the real estate industry directing acquisitions, development, and asset management activities along the East Coast. During that time, he structured joint ventures, arranged project financing, directed entitlements, assemblages and debt restructuring across a full range of property types.

Prior to joining LCOR, Mr. Thompson served as Senior Vice President of Lowe Enterprises Real Estate Group, an investment and development company, in Washington, DC.

Christian Dorsey was first elected to the Arlington County Board in 2015 and is now serving his second term. He is currently Chair and previously served as Vice-Chair in 2022 and Chair in 2019. During his prior tenure as Chair, Mr. Dorsey guided the Board’s adoption of: the Vision Zero transportation safety plan, the update to the Public Spaces Master Plan, the update to the Community Energy Plan, the renaming of Route 1 to Richmond Highway, the economic performance agreement and land use entitlements for Amazon’s headquarters in Arlington, principles of collaboration with the City of Alexandria on joint efforts to ensure inclusive growth with expected economic development, and an Equity Resolution that detailed the scope of work in Arlington’s mission to realize racial and social equity.

Christian has served on the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG) since 2016, and served as Chair in 2022. Previously, Mr. Dorsey served as Arlington’s Member on the Transportation Planning Board (TPB) in 2019 and 2021. Additionally, Christian served as a Principal Member of the Board of Directors for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, aka Metro, and as a Commissioner on the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission from 2016-2020.

Outside of public service, Mr. Dorsey engages as a policy and communications consultant supporting progressive organizations in realizing their missions. Prior to joining the Board, Christian was a senior leader at the Economic Policy Institute, a think tank that promotes economic policies that foster broadly shared prosperity.

Throughout his career, Mr. Dorsey has been committed to improving the Arlington community. He had the privilege of serving as executive director of The Reading Connection, promoting literacy development for children facing housing insecurity. He also led the Bonder and Amanda Johnson Community Development Corporation, which provided essential community services and jump-started a moderate-income housing development in the Green Valley neighborhood.

Tracy Sayegh Gabriel is a planner and urbanist focused on helping communities shape and implement plans for neighborhood and downtown vibrancy, inclusive economic development, capital investment, and programming. Tracy currently serves as President and Executive Director of the National Landing Business Improvement District, leading placemaking and promotion for the DC region's fastest-growing downtown district located in Arlington, VA. She has been featured on the Washington Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business and Power 100 lists. Tracy’s career has spanned public and private sectors and includes management of some of the most complex and high-profile public plans and development initiatives in New York City at NYC Economic Development Corporation and Washington, DC, at the DC Office of Planning. She received her undergraduate degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University, her Master's in City Planning from MIT, and was a Fulbright Scholar in economic development in Damascus, Syria.

Tina Leone, a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant, has more than 20 years of consulting, financial and management experience. She became the Chief Executive Officer of the Ballston BID in December 2011. The BID works to create a Ballston that people love through vibrant and dynamic branding and placemaking, elevated neighborhood experience, and relationship-building programs.

Prior to joining the BBID, she was the President/CEO of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce beginning in July 2009. Within five months of coming on board, Ms. Leone streamlined the Chamber’s operations, re-established the Chamber as the voice for business in Alexandria and increased membership by 15%, from 630 to 715 members. The Chamber had reached over 800 members as she departed.

Her former positions included that of the President/CEO/CFO of The Lorton Arts Foundation where she provided leadership for the start- up 501(c)3 organization and transformed that vision into a vibrant cultural community that today hosts more than 100 artists at the Workhouse Arts Center at Lorton. The Workhouse is a 55-acre, 30 building-site formerly known as the former Lorton Correctional Complex. She guided the Workhouse proposal through Fairfax County’s adaptive reuse plan approval process and managed the Workhouse site rezoning, construction, and lease negotiations with Fairfax County, as well as completed a $26,200,000 public bond financing. She secured over $5,000,000 of donations and $6,000,000 of state historic tax credits. The Workhouse opened to the public in September 2008 and welcomed over 200,000 visitors within its first year.

Prior to joining The Lorton Arts Foundation, Ms. Leone held accounting and business consulting positions in various organizations. In these positions, she was responsible for audit, review, and compilation engagements, establishing and directing corporate financial policies, and overseeing human resource functions. She was the acting CFO for American View Networks, a national radio program syndication company and the Director of Finance for PromiseMark, Inc., a developer of Internet and computer related protection services. Ms. Leone also audited non-profit corporations and employee benefit plans with Keller Bruner & Company (now RSM) as well as performed international operational audits for the Department of Defense, Inspector General’s Office. She has created business plans, performed due diligence reviews, and assisted in obtaining funding of over $15,000,000.

Ms. Leone is a member the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of CPAs. She has an MS in Management Information Systems from George Washington University and a BS in Accounting from the University of Scranton.

An Alexandria native and Falls Church resident, Andrew has cultivated a unique set of skills, knowledge, relationships, and expertise in

the transactional aspects of real estate law. He has represented clients in 16 Virginia localities, from Arlington County to Winchester, and

specializesin securing zoning approvals and providing counselto residential,commercial, and industrial developers and landowners, advises

clients on all aspects of the land entitlement process and real estate matters, and frequently appears before planning commissions, town

and city councils,county boards of supervisors, localcitizen groups, boards of architecturalreview, and civic and homeowners associations.

Prior to joining The Land Lawyers in 2007, Andrew worked for two members of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, the County

Administrator of Caroline County, Virginia, and former Virginia Governor (now U.S. Senator) Mark Warner. In 2004, Andrew worked

for McGuireWoods Consulting, identifying business expansion opportunities and conducting comprehensive studies for public safety,

education, and transportation construction companies across thecommonwealth.

Andrew is an adjunct professor and teaches classes in political science, urban history, historic preservation, and city and regional planning

at the University of Richmond and the University of Mary Washington. He also leads courses for public and private civil engineers on the

land use entitlement process at the Engineers & Surveyors Institute to improve the quality of their plans and the process by which they are

approved.Having studiedNorthern Virginia’s geography and chronicled itsland development history, Andrew’sextensive knowledge of the

region has played a significant role in assisting clients and navigating issues related to development patterns, transportation concerns, and

environmentalchallenges in multiplejurisdictions.

Adam Rashid is a Senior Vice President and Head of Smart Cities at JBG SMITH (“JBGS”). Mr.

Rashid co-founded the Smart Cities practice at JBGS and is focused on building National

Landing into the United States’ first 5G smart city at scale. National Landing is home to

Amazon’s HQ2 and comprises over 30 million square feet of existing and to be built office,

residential, retail, green space, and multi-modal transportation hubs. In his role, Mr. Rashid leads

strategy formation and the execution of joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and deployment of

investment capital to design and create next generation connectivity infrastructure and seamless

technology solutions with a focus on IoT, AI, cyber security, cloud and edge computing.

Telly Tucker is the Director of Arlington Economic Development (AED) for Arlington County. Mr. Tucker most recently served as the Director of Economic Development for Danville, Va., where he managed business and expansion projects that brought many new jobs to the City. Prior to his position in Danville, Mr. Tucker served as the Assistant Director of Economic Development in James City County, Va., as well as an Economic Development Specialist for the City of Lynchburg, Va.

Throughout his career, Tucker has approached economic development plans with an insightful and creative mindset. He will build on the momentum from Amazon’s move to ensure all of Arlington’s neighborhoods move forward together as one in an effort to attract even more businesses and support existing ones. Tucker has a track record of creating impactful regional partnerships and addressing the needs of the small business community, which will prove to be an invaluable strength in Arlington.

Mr. Tucker has received the prestigious Certified Economic Development (CEcD) designation granted by the International Economic Development Council in Washington, D.C. He is a Lynchburg native and obtained his bachelors of business administration in international business and Spanish from James Madison University.

Mike Proctor is the market president for the Arlington/Alexandria region of United Bank, a subsidiary of United Bankshares, Inc., a nearly $30 billion bank holding company. He is responsible for the management and operation of all United Bank offices in the Arlington/Alexandria areas, including client relationships and new business development. Proctor has financed the acquisition and construction of multiple commercial and residential real estate projects in and around the D.C. metro area. In addition, he has worked with various operating companies to provide working capital and term financing. He is a graduate of the RMA-ECU Commercial Lending School, past chairman of the United Bank Leadership Development Program and a member of the Board of Directors of the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce. Prior to his role as market president, Proctor served as a commercial lender and a credit analyst with United Bank. He graduated with a degree in finance from West Virginia University.

Mary-Claire Burick is a dynamic and strategic leader whose focus is on building engagement and leading change. As President of the Rosslyn Business Improvement District, she is responsible for leading daily operations and creating programs that define, enhance and continually improve Rosslyn for those who work, live, visit and do business there. Her leadership in the area of business engagement has been recognized within the region, and has focused on building relationships and retaining businesses in Rosslyn, as well as working with the real estate community, property owners and Arlington County to welcome new businesses to Rosslyn.

Previously, Mary-Claire was President of MC Strategy, a consulting firm helping leaders build healthy and effective organizations. Prior, she was Vice President of Operations for Allbritton Communications, managing ABC-7, NewsChannel 8 and POLITICO. Earlier in her career, she helped launch the Fox NewsChannel, where she served as Operations Manager.
