Summary

Want to know what the future holds for the hospitality industry... well, so do we...

And while we may not have a crystal ball that can tell us the future of this asset class, what we do know is that the US hospitality outlook for 2018 is strong and has no signs of slowing down anytime soon

According to JLL, 2018 kicked off the eighth consecutive year of growth for the hospitality industry as occupancy rates continue to rise. But don't get too comfortable, as rising construction costs, continued competition from online marketplaces, such as Airbnb, and the rise of experiential lodging is forcing hoteliers to step up their game and remain competitive in an otherwise demanding market.

Want to know what the future of blockchain has in store for the hospitality industry? Well, wait no more as we will deep dive into how this cryptocurrency is changing the way millennials do business.

With over 20 million visitors a year, the D.C. metro area is one of America's most popular tourist destinations. It is no surprise then, that the D.C., Virginia and Maryland area will each grow by more than 2,000 rooms during 2018.

Want to take meetings with the top hotel firms? Nowhere in the US has more lodging company HQs than the D.C. region, with Marriott, Hilton, RLJ, Host, Diamondrock, LaSalle, Chesapeake, Interstate, Thayer and more all located here. And they all will be in attendance!

While we work on that prototype for that crystal ball, please join us our top-level speakers dive deep into 2018's most relevant national and local lodging trends including hotel finance, investment, construction and design!

Please join us on October 23 in D.C. where the biggest REITs, hoteliers, and experts in the industry will come together in one place for one day only. You won't want to miss this!

We look forward to seeing you there!
