Dr. Deeken is a specialty care physician board certified in medical oncology. His clinical focus is in the treatment of patients with head and neck cancer. His research areas of interest include using genomics to personalize cancer therapy, as well as in developing new targeted drugs to treat patients with refractory cancers.

Dr. Deeken joined Inova Medical Group in 2013 with over 12 years of clinical experience in internal medicine and medical oncology. He serves as associate director for clinical research for Inova Schar Cancer Institute, working with leadership to develop and manage the cancer center clinical trial infrastructure and develop outside collaborations for early phase clinical trials. He is also medical director for medical oncology for Inova.

A Dreyfuss National Merit Scholar at the University of North Carolina, Dr. Mitchell completed training and certification in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill. He completed Rheumatology subspecialty training at Georgetown University.

In 1988, he accepted a faculty position to provide rheumatology teaching and service in adult and pediatric rheumatology at Georgetown University Hospital, where he opened the Childhood Arthritis Center. He served as Residency Program Director in Internal Medicine from 1992 to 1999 and initiated an innovative Medicine Pediatric Residency at Georgetown in partnership with Kaiser Permanente in 1996 under the sponsorship of Partnerships for Quality Education and the Pew Charitable trusts. He has served on the Council and Secretary Treasurer of the Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine (APDIM) from 1996-2002. He served as Associate Dean for Clinical Curriculum at Georgetown University School of Medicine from 1998-2000 and as Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs from 2000 until May 2002. He currently serves as the Joseph Butenas Professor of and Dean of Medical Education at Georgetown.

Dr. Mitchell has been honored with multiple Golden Apple awards and has been inducted then into the Golden Orchard twice for medical student education. He has received the Kaiser Permanente Award from the faculty for the outstanding Clinical Teacher in the medical center. Dr. Mitchell has received every residency teaching award in the Department of Medicine, including induction into the Sol Katz Society. He was awarded a Laureate Award from the Washington Metropolitan Chapter of the American College of Physicians/American Society of Internal Medicine in 2002. In 2004, he was inducted into Mastership of the College, the highest honor bestowed only on 600 living members of the 150,000 member organization.

Dr. Mitchell completed the Stanford Faculty development program in Clinical Teaching in 1994 and has delivered that clinical teaching model in many venues around the country. In 1996 he completed the Harvard Macy Institute as Clinician Educator and in 2000 completed the Leaders course. In 2005 he hosted the third reunion of Harvard Macy Educators in Washington, DC in an international conference on “a Global View of Medical Education.”

Dr. Norvell V. Coots serves as the President and CEO of Holy Cross Health, and the President and CEO of the Maryland Region of Trinity Health. Holy Cross is a $600 Million Health System consisting of Holy Cross Hospital, Holy Cross Germantown Hospital, Holy Cross Health Network, Holy Cross Health Foundation, and the Holy Cross Radiation Treatment Center, all located in Montgomery County. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Maryland Physicians Care, a Medicaid MCO, and serves on the Executive Committee of the Maryland Hospital Association. He is a member of the Maryland Governor's Covid19 Task Force.

In 2016 he retired from the United States Army as a Brigadier General. His final assignment was as the Commanding General of Regional Health Command Europe, and as the Command Surgeon for the US Army Europe and 7th Army. His previous assignments have included Deputy Commanding General of the US Army Medical Command, the Assistant Surgeon General of the Army, and as the Surgeon General for the US Forces in Afghanistan. From 2008- 2011, he served as the final Commander of the historic Walter Reed Healthcare System and Walter Reed Army Medical Center, in Washington, DC. He is Board Certified in Dermatology, holds a Master’s degree in Strategy from the Army War College, and a certification in advanced healthcare management from the Interagency Institute for Federal Healthcare Executives. His civilian healthcare awards include the Scroll of Merit of the National Medical Association, the 2020 Exceptional Healthcare Executive of the Year award, given by the US-India SME Council, recognition as one of the recipients of the 2018 Distinguished Healthcare Leadership Award from the National Association of Health Sector Executives, and recognition on the 2017 and 2019 Becker's Healthcare/American Medical Association list of 105 Physician Leaders to Know. His military awards and decorations include the Distinguished Service Medal and the Defense Superior Service Medal. He has been awarded the Legion of Honor from France, and is a member of the Order of Military Medical Merit. He is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology’s Leadership Circle on Volunteerism.

Kathleen Chavanu Gorman, MSN, RN, FAAN, is Executive Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Operating Officer. Kathy is a nurse leader who has advanced patient safety, quality, and clinical resource management to improve care outcomes and inform policy for children and families.

Kathy rejoined Children's National from Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) where she served as Senior Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer, and Assistant Dean of Clinical Practice at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Prior to her tenure at CHOP, Kathy was at Children’s National as Vice President of Quality and Clinical Support Services until 2009. During that time, she also led the Quality Program, Clinical Resource Management Program, and Family Service Department, and played a critical role in the process of achieving Magnet® status in March 2010.

Kathy has presented and published extensively on quality, safety, outcomes and leadership in healthcare. In advancing the national agenda on improving child health through pediatric quality, she has led and participated in committees under the National Quality Forum, The Leapfrog Group, Children’s Hospital Association (CHA), American Board of Pediatrics, Institute of Medicine and others.

Kathy serves on the Board of Directors for The DAISY Foundation and the Quality, Safety and Performance Committee for CHA. She was the recipient of the distinguished Alumni Award for the University of Nebraska Medical Center and is a graduate from Wharton School of Business: Johnson & Johnson Nurse Executive Fellow program.

In 2017 Kathy received the American Hospital Association’s prestigious Grassroots Champion Award for Washington, DC, in recognition of her tireless advocacy on behalf of patients, hospitals and communities.

In addition, she has been recognized as a top woman leader by Becker’s Hospital Review in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Kathy was inducted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing in 2014.

She received her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Nursing.

Donald L. (Skip) Trump, MD, FACP, is CEO and executive director of Inova Schar Cancer Institute. Dr. Trump assumed his executive role in 2015 and brings more than two decades of leadership experience with prestigious cancer care, cancer research and cancer education programs.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Trump was president and CEO of Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY, beginning in 2007. He served as the institute's associate institute director and senior vice president for clinical investigations from 2002 to 2007.

From 1992 to 2002, Dr. Trump was deputy director for clinical investigations at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. Before that he was director of experimental therapeutics at Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Dr. Trump is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. As an active physician with Inova Medical Group, he continues his 40 years in medical practice and patient care. His clinical interests include the treatment of genitourinary cancers, including prostate, bladder, kidney and testis.

With a strong clinical and research interest in genitourinary oncology, he has focused on the development of new approaches in the treatment of genitourinary cancer, especially prostate cancer. He has led institutional and cooperative group trials in new treatment approaches to GU malignancies.

Dr. Trump received his medical education and completed his residency and fellowship at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. He is the recipient of several national awards, including recognition as one of America's Top Doctors for Cancer, a Lifetime Achievement Award in Medicine/Business from Medaille College, and an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Canisius College.

Dr. Trumps's professional associations and appointments include the American Association for Cancer Research, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Association for the Advancement of Science, Society of Urologic Oncology, American Urological Association, Society for Basic Urologic Research, and the Science Policy & Legislative Affairs Committee.

Kent’s healthcare work has varied from small, focused interventions within existing facilities to large-scale, freestanding buildings. He has earned national awards for design excellence, and his dedication to every client’s success via best practice strategies has afforded him robust, long-term client relationships. His pursuit of these areas of expertise led to Kent completing Stanford University’s Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE) program.

Hillary Rosenwald has more than 35 years of experience in health facility planning, master planning,

clinical operations management and healthcare program management for large integrated healthcare

delivery systems. Her extensive experience on the owner’s side, in both planning and operations,

enables her to bring a unique perspective to working with clients.

Hillary joined Page in the Washington, DC office in June 2016 as a Senior Associate. In this role, Hillary

leads the private sector healthcare practice in the greater DC area and supports government healthcare

projects on an international basis.

Prior to joining Page, Hillary worked for the U.S. Army Surgeon General and the Defense Health Agency

planning ambulatory care facilities and hospitals on military bases around the globe. She was a key

member of tri-Service Department of Defense Space Planning Criteria Work Group which provided

critical input to update clinical and administrative space planning criteria based on extensive industry

experience and research. Hillary is currently part of Page’s Independent Technical Review team for the

1M SF Rhine Ordnance Barracks Medical Center replacement in Kaiserslautern, Germany. This project is

a joint Army/Air Force endeavor that will provide the highest quality inpatient and outpatient care

facilities for soldiers and their families.

Hillary has honed her visioning and master planning skills many times and is adept at seeing

opportunities for collaboration across distinct groups, as evidenced by her evaluation of requirements

for both in-patient and outpatient services. As the Director of Facilities Planning for Kaiser Permanente’s

mid-Atlantic Region, Hillary provided leadership for on-going renovations to approximately 30 clinical

facilities, as well as planning and programming for several new facilities. Hillary is a Lean Six-Sigma

Green Belt with applied expertise in asset utilization models. Her passion is to partner with clients to

provide design solutions to meet the changing needs of the healthcare environment. This work includes

work flow analysis, defining program requirements and lean operational efficiencies that bring

maximum value to the clients.

Hillary has an undergraduate degree in Environmental Design and a Masters degree in Health

Administration from the University of Southern California.

Katie Jacoby is Executive Vice President, Strategy and Development for Anchor Health Properties, and is based in the firm's Wilmington, DE, office.

Katie is responsible for leading and managing the Eastern U.S. development team as well as developing and implementing the Company's corporate strategic initiatives across the country. Ms. Jacoby has been with the Company for more than 10 years and in her previous roles has managed all aspects of the development process project concept through building opening.

Prior to joining Anchor, Ms. Jacoby worked for a consulting company in Northern VA in their financial services division. She received a BBA degree in Finance from James Madison University.
