Louis Levitt, M.D., M.Ed., is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with more than 30 years of experience and specializes in orthopaedic trauma and joint replacement surgery. He is also a board-certified medical examiner.

Dr. Levitt currently serves as Vice President of The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics while practicing at the Orthopaedic Medicine and Surgery Care Center in Washington, D.C. In addition to orthopaedic surgery and medical examination, he is a member of the teaching staff at Georgetown University and is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at George Washington University. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Medical Society of DC, Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. His orthopaedic research is published in several peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Levitt has been listed as one of Washingtonian Magazine’s Top Docs and one of Consumer’s Checkbook Magazine’s Top Docs for his orthopaedic expertise in orthopaedic trauma and total joint replacement surgery.

Dr. Levitt earned his medical degree from The Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. He completed his orthopedic residency at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Brent Westhoven is the Chief Financial Officer at Advantia Health. A results-driven financial executive specializing in high growth companies, Brent is passionate about developing teams, processes and systems that power business growth.

Prior to joining Advantia, Brent served as Chief Financial Officer of Triumph Enterprises, a management consulting firm focused on providing the Civilian and Defense markets with personalized knowledge-based professional services.

Prior to his tenure at Triumph Enterprises, Brent served as CFO of VW International and the Facilities Solutions Group. In each of his leadership positions Brent excelled at maximizing potential by identifying and driving performance metrics, forecasting and analyzing results, actively managing business risk and achieving strategic objectives through tactical planning and execution.

Natalie Kirilichin, MD, MPH, is a board-certified attending emergency medicine physician and assistant professor with the George Washington University Department of Emergency Medicine. As faculty, she works at GWU and The Walter Reed National Military Medical Center clinically caring for patients and teaching/training medical students and residents. Her education leadership roles include co-directing the GWU MFA Health Policy Fellowship and the Health Policy Scholarly Concentration Program at the School of Medicine. Dr. Kirilichin is also core faculty for the Residency Fellowship in Health Policy.

Dr. Kirilichin developed an interest in behavioral health while working for the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) as a health policy fellow. There, her portfolio included mental health and substance abuse policy, and her work supported Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act passage and the opioid funding provisions of 21st Century Cures. Dr. Kirilichin went on to join National Safety Council, a nonprofit that eliminates preventable deaths through leadership, research, education and advocacy. She serves as a medical advisor and member of the Physician Speaker’s Bureau for this organization, working with colleagues in multiple disciplines across the country on constructive interventions to combat the opioid epidemic.

Dr. Kirilichin received her undergraduate degree (BS, Biology) from Georgetown University, and remained at Georgetown’s School of Medicine to complete her MD. She earned her MPH from the GWU Milken Institute School of Public Health. During her residency at University of Chicago Hospitals, she worked with the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) in an advocacy capacity. She currently serves as President of the DC Chapter of this organization and as a member of the Pain Management and Addiction Medicine Section. Finally, Dr. Kirilichin serves on the Advisory Committee for DC Health’s Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP).

George L. Askew, MD, FAAPis the Deputy Chief Administrator Officer for Health, Human Services, and Education for Prince George’s County Maryland. He is responsible for oversight of the county’s Health Department, Department of Family Services, Department of Social Services, and the liaison relationships to the public schools, library system, and community college. He is former Deputy Commissioner of Health in the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene where he was responsible for overseeing and managing the Division of Family and Child Health. Prior to that he was appointed by the Obama Administration to serve as the first Chief Medical Officer for the Administration for Children and Families at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. In that role he provided expert advice and consultation to the Assistant Secretary for Children and Families on plans, programs, policies, and initiatives that addressed the health needs and strengths of children and families facing significant social, health, and economic challenges. This included: Affordable Care Act outreach and education, early childhood health and development, and the health of victims and survivors of human trafficking. Of note, Dr. Askew was one of the core developers of the SOAR Human Trafficking Training for Health Care and Social Service Providers. Dr. Askew has a longstanding history of innovative work in child and family advocacy and executive leadership. Prior to joining HHS he was Deputy CEO and Chief Development Officer for Voices for America’s Children, Founder of Docs For Tots, and former CEO and President of Jumpstart for Young Children. Because of his initiative, vision, and national impact, in 2005 Dr. Askew was named an Ashoka International Fellow. He was recognized as a national and global leader for his efforts to link health professionals with early childhood advocacy, embodying the ideals of civic engagement and creative solution-building nurtured by the international fellowship program. Dr. Askew was born and raised in inner-city Cleveland, Ohio. He earned a BA in Psychology and Social Relations at Harvard University, is a graduate of the Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, and a member of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Class of 1992 Epidemic Intelligence Service, also known as the “Disease Detectives.”

Tatiana Escobar is an Associate Principal and Senior Project Architect in

Perkins+Will’s Washington, DC office. Tatiana has been an integral part of the

Healthcare practice at Perkins+Will’ Washington, DC office since 2007 and is

a practice leader. She has over two decades of experience ranging from project

design to project management, and has worked on a wide variety of building

types and master plans throughout her career. Since joining Perkins+Will Tatiana

has focused on healthcare planning and design as well having construction

oversight of numerous healthcare projects. She has a background that spans

from conceptual planning to field experience which provides clients with a solid

platform for analyzing design decisions.

Ashley Hunnicutt has over 20 years of healthcare leadership

experience. Ashley has worked for Alexandria Hospital, Loudoun

Healthcare Inc. and Loudoun Medical Group, Northern Virginia's

largest physician owned multi specialty private practice, where Ashley

was the Director of Administrative services. She oversaw operational

aspects for all practice locations including practice administration, site

selection, design, operational set up, hiring and openings. She also led

all HR and commercial insurance procurement for the organization.

In 2006 she left Loudoun Medical Group and began her own

consulting company for practice management and healthcare

policy. Ashley's consulting clients included many private practice

specialties as well as Virginia Hospital Center and Inova. In 2008, Ashley accepted a full-time job with her largest client,

Inova, as Sr. Director of Real Estate Services. In 2013 she became

AVP and part of Inova's Business Development team while

maintaining her role as the head of real estate for the System.

In her current role, Ashley and her staff oversee the property

operations for Inova's 130+ non-hospital locations as well as site

selection, purchase/lease negotiations, design and build out.

She works closely with Inova executives to drive growth and best

David Moreno, PE is the DC Healthcare Practice Leader at AKF Group, one of the largest MEP / FP

healthcare engineering firms in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. As a Partner of the firm since

1999, Dave has helped to grow it substantially — both in size and in project diversification. Much of its

success can be attributed to his creative leadership and his commitment to building and maintaining

long-term relationships of trust. Dave has led his technical teams in projects ranging from 600 SF to

over 1 million SF. To achieve results that exceed expectations, Dave partners with his clients to design

facilities with the newest technology to provide advanced patient care with safety and comfort in mind.

Maryam Katouzian is a project manager with more than 15 years of experience in the design and management of clinical and research facilities around the world. Maryam has effectively led highly complex, technically challenging, and often multi-phased projects from inception through completion. Her collaborative approach and strength in leadership has resulted in projects for The University of Virginia, National Cancer Center Singapore, Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital that have ultimately added value through discovery and implementation of innovative design solutions that support new and evolving care models while elevating user experience. Maryam is passionate about optimizing the use of BIM to improve design, document coordination, and construction. She is an advocate for integrating sustainable design technologies in high-quality buildings to enhance healthy environments, the user experience, and return on investment. Maryam earned a Master of Architecture in Infrastructure Planning and a Bachelor of Architecture from New Jersey Institute of Technology.

that all projects are running smoothly on a day to day basis.

Since joining Korth, Brian has successfully managed projects of

all sizes and complexities. Brian’s strategic way of thinking and

abundant knowledge of the building process allows him to

schedule phases properly and track the critical points

appropriately. Brian’s expertise has led him to manage a variety of

our medical buildouts. He has been the sole “go to” Project Manger

for the statewide Community Clinics, and is currently working on a complex

Endoscopy Center here in Rockville. He always brings solutions

to the client, allowing them to rest easy during the entire process.

Having joined Walter P Moore in 2004, Ryan is the Managing Director of the firm's Washington, D.C. structural operations, with responsibility for all activities throughout the mid-Atlantic region. An experienced structural engineer, Ryan specializes in large, complex projects including major healthcare, cultural, and international developments. He currently leads the firm’s lean project delivery initiatives and Technology Steering Committee. Mr. Michael Crawford is the Associate Dean for Strategy, Outreach, and Innovation at

the Howard University College of Medicine and Founding Executive Director of 1867

Health Innovations Project. Mr. Crawford serves as a strategic advisor to the Dean of

Howard University College of Medicine and Vice President of Clinical Affairs and

collaborates with medical science, health, academic, and HU Board leadership to

advance Howard University’s academic, health, and innovation mission.

Prior to Howard University, Mr. Crawford served as the Chief of Staff at Unity Health

Care, Inc., one of the largest health center networks in the United States. Prior to

Unity, Mr. Crawford held leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson,

GlaxoSmithKline, and Gannett Company. Mr. Crawford brings expertise at the

intersection of operations, strategy, digital health, data, innovation, and program

development.

Courtland Wyatt, a veteran of the United States Army, served during the Gulf War in

Operation Desert Storm. While in the military, he earned recognition as the

Distinguished Honor Graduate of his class. Following his military service, he obtained a

Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Howard University and a Doctorate of

Physical Therapy degree from Alabama State University.

Courtland has distinguished himself by becoming an innovative and successful

entrepreneur. He started his own real estate investment company, Wyatt Realty, LLC,

which had property assets of up to $10 million in its real estate holding portfolio. This

venture led to the creation of a rehab outsourcing company Called Ergo Solutions, LLC,

in which he is a 25 percent stakeholder. The company specializes in providing

outsourcing PT, OT, and SLP to hospitals and nursing homes in the DC area. Ergo

Solutions has become the largest outsourcing rehab company in Washington, DC.

Courtland oversees a staff of over ninety employees and generates sales of over $8

million annually. He is also co-owner of Ergo OccMed, an outpatient physical therapy

clinic in Oxon Hill, Maryland, established in 2010.

In addition to launching numerous successful business ventures, Courtland is the

Treasurer of a national organization—The American Academy of Physical Therapy—a

non-profit that is helping to eliminate health disparities in low-income communities

across the US. AAPT programs include scholarships, mentoring, health/wellness, and

educational resources. Dr. Wyatt is also on Corporate Huddle’s Board of Directors. This

organization helps retired professional athletes interested in starting their own business

become acclimated to entrepreneurship.

Dr. Wyatt is a published author, sought-after speaker and seminar presenter both in the

As a medical student at Howard University, Dr. Ernest Brown originally sought to become an emergency medicine physician. Neil Carpenter is a senior advisor to Array Architects/Advisors. In this role, he is helping launch their new claims-based planning tool and company called Pivotal, which will become part of the Optum solutions family. In addition to his work with Array, Neil is also supporting a new multi system collaboration and venture fund.

In his past career, Neil has worked in system leadership and as a consultant. Neil was the past Chief Strategy Officer for LifeBridge Health, a $2B+ integrated health care delivery system in Maryland. Neil also spent a decade at leading consulting firms as both an Engagement Manager and Director; Neil’s clients included Kaiser Permanente, Sisters of Mercy Health System, the Military Health System, Montefiore, and the University of Virginia, among others. Gordon has been a speaker and moderator at various industry conferences including the American College of Healthcare Executives, American Institute of Architects, Becker’s Hospital CEO Roundtable, Interface Healthcare Real Estate, RealShare Healthcare Real Estate and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He also served four years as co-chair of the prestigious BOMA International Medical Office Buildings and Healthcare Facilities conference during which it exhibited exponential growth.

FUN FACT

I’m an honorary Canadian, having lived and worked in Toronto for two years.

Mr. Busch has been an active investor in the real estate industry since 1985. Since 2013, Mr. Busch has served as President of our advisor. Mr. Busch also has served as a director of our Company since September 2014 and served as Chairman and President of our Company from August 2015 to the present. From October 2014 to the present, Mr. Busch has served as Director and Vice Chairman of American Housing REIT Inc. (f/k/a On Target 360), which is also externally managed by our advisor, and from October 2014 to the present has served as its Chairman. His experience includes developing numerous properties in various asset classes, owning and managing real estate in several states, including rental housing, and a wide variety of commercial real estate. Since 2001, Mr. Busch has also served as President of Safe Blood International Foundation, where he oversees the establishment of medical facilities in 35 developing nations, funded by the CDC and USAID, Exxon Mobil, and the Gates Foundation. Mr. Busch has had presidential appointments in two presidential administrations, one in the Department of Housing and Urban Affairs and the other at the United Nations in Geneva, where he served as a United States delegate. Mr. Busch is a graduate of the New York University Stern School of Business, holds a Masters of Public Administration from New York University, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Emory University.

Jim Kornick joined the Washington, DC office of Avison Young as a Principal in November 2011. Jim has more than 30 years of real estate industry experience as a broker, developer and investor. Jim’s focus is on providing investment services for office and medical-office properties. He leads a national medical office sales team and is a dominant medical sales broker in the mid- Atlantic region. His clients include health systems, developers, physician groups and institutional investors. Jim often serves as a speaker at events held by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), Bisnow and other national and local real estate organizations. In the community, he is active with the Alexandria Carpenter’s Shelter and the Capital Area Food Bank.
