In early 2004, Mr. Cohen founded and became President / CEO of Perseus TDC. He has an active role in every project Perseus TDC undertakes from acquisition financing, development, marketing and leasing. Mr. Cohen has been an active participant in the Washington area real estate business since 1971. He began his career as a broker with Barnes Morris & Pardoe. In 1982, he became President of Barnes Morris and oversaw the growth of the firm into a leading and successful brokerage company. In 1991 Mr. Cohen and P. Wesley Foster Jr. became partners and merged Long & Foster Commercial with Barnes Morris and Mr. Cohen became Chairman and CEO of the combined company and soon thereafter acquired the Kaempfer management Company and grew that to manage more than 13 million square feet of office. In 1998 the company was sold to Insignia Financial Group and Mr. Cohen remained as the regional executive manager. A demonstrated real estate professional, Mr. Cohen has been involved in the acquisition and disposition of numerous real estate projects. He has acquired, on behalf of various partnerships, land for development and buildings for investment. He has invested in multiple projects such as a 150,000 square foot building at 2121 Virginia Avenue and is the developer of a partnership that owns land to develop over 700,000 square feet in the NOMA submarket of Washington, DC known as Storey Park. Some of the notable projects Mr. Cohen has been involved with include Redland Corporate Center, a 350,000 square foot office development; 1110 Vermont Avenue, a 308,000 square foot office redevelopment; 2440 M Street, a medical office building; 2101 M Street NW Hilton Hotel; 14W, a 250,000 square foot mixed use residential project; 1577 Spring Hill Road, McLean, VA. Mr. Cohen is a member of the Economic Club of Washington and the World Presidents Organization. He is a former member of the Young Presidents Organization and he has served on the Board of Visitors at Duke University, the boards of WETA, Norwood School, DC National Bank, Sovran DC National, George Washington University Cancer Center and Global Relief Technologies, a disaster relief technology company. member of Global Relief Technologies, a disaster relief technology company.

Mr. Darby has built Monument into a full-service real estate firm with expertise in Acquisitions, Development, Construction Management, Property Management, Leasing, Investment Sales for Commercial, Residential and Retail property. Through his dynamic leadership and visionary thinking, Mr. Darby has been a driving force in Monument's success for over 23 years and an active member of the Washington region's construction and development industry for nearly 40 years. Mr. Darby served as a senior vice president for Akridge prior to founding Monument. He also directed a number of downtown development projects while at The Carr Company, including such landmark restoration projects as the Willard Hotel and the Southern Railway Building. Today, Monument is transforming neighborhoods throughout the DMV with innovative projects like the new SoNYa district and residential buildings in NoMa, as well as the unprecedented assemblage and preservation project in Chinatown.

Mr. Darby began his career in his native Australia, working with a Melbourne-based general contractor, and holds a degree in Construction Engineering and Business from the University of Melbourne. Mr. Darby has been active in numerous regional real estate organizations over the years and encourages Monument employees to participate in leadership roles in such organizations as the DC Building Industry Association, NAIOP, ULI, Real Estate Group and CREW DC. He is an avid skier, cyclist and kite-surfer and enjoys community outreach. As a District of Columbia resident for the better part of a quarter century, Mr. Schwat offers the unique ability to forecast the direction and trend of revitalization potential in many of the District’s classic neighborhoods. Steve delivers a keen sense of style and functional trends combined with an acute attention to detail throughout the development and management phases of all projects. Steve has participated in a number of entrepreneurial ventures including investing in real estate since 1996. Steve’s extensive experience began with designing and co-managing the renovation of an 1897 Chevy Chase home and co-general contracting several medium-sized construction projects in the District and Prince George’s County. Since joining UIP, he has managed the construction and renovation of over 1,500 apartment units. He is well versed in working with architects and construction companies; locating and investigating opportunities; creating and analyzing initial purchase, construction, and sales estimates; overseeing planning, construction, and draws; and more. He works with real estate sales and marketing professionals in designing marketing materials including signage, renderings, sales presentation materials, and web sites. Steve has served as mayor and treasurer of the Village of Drummond in Chevy Chase, MD, as treasurer of the Citizens Coordinating Committee of Friendship Heights. Mayor for Planning and Economic Development

Sarosh Olpadwala is the Director of Real Estate in the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development in the District of Columbia. He is responsible for overseeing the inter-agency acquisition, asset management, leasing, disposition and strategic planning of a portfolio of 74 District-based development projects worth over $11 billion. Located across all eight District Wards, the projects vary in size from small-scale neighborhood retail to the 100 acre St. Elizabeths East Campus Redevelopment to the $4 billion initiative to reclaim the long-neglected Anacostia Waterfront. In addition to the real estate portfolio, his office includes the Office of Public Private Partnerships (OP3) and manages special economic development finance vehicles for the District, such as Tax Increment Financing (TIF).

Sarosh measures his agency's success primarily in the maximization of public value and community benefits negotiated into land dispositions, including additional affordable housing, underserved community economic development, job creation and small and local business development. He leads a team of development managers who provide an open, transparent, responsive and service-oriented department for the residents and businesses in the District of Columbia.

Prior to his appointment to the Office of the Deputy Mayor, Sarosh’s career spanned both the public and private sectors, including positions with Norcross Boldt, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Cherokee Investment Partners and Clark Construction. He earned both his bachelor’s degree in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering and an MBA from Cornell University.

in urban and town center development throughout the metropolitan Washington, DC region.

Mr. Lake has been responsible for overall acquisition, entitlement, development, leasing, and property management of more than 25 million SF over the past three decades. Notable recent projects include City Ridge located at 3900 Wisconsin Avenue, NW which occupies 550 feet of frontage

along Wisconsin Avenue NW, the site includes approximately 9.71 acres of land that is bound by a residential neighborhood to the south, Glover-Archbold Park to the west, and a private office building to the north; City Market at O & 880P, a million square foot, urban infill project in the

heart of the Shaw neighborhood in Washington DC, which spans two city blocks and featuresnearly 90,000 square feet of retail, 550 luxury rental apartments, 90 affordable senior rental units, a 182-room key hotel, a 500-car parking garage, and incorporates the historic preservation of the

nationally registered landmark O Street Market; Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center, a 105-acre mixed-use retail town center and residential community in Woodbridge, Virginia; and Cityline at Tenley, which preserved and transformed an abandoned historic Sears building into an award-winning mixed-use project that attracted Washington, DC’s first Best Buy and Container Storeretailers while also incorporating a contemporary addition of 204 luxury condominium units.

Mr. Lake’s talent for working with development teams and optimizing a project’s full value potential throughout all stages of the real estate cycle is one of his greatest assets. He has also served as a consultant on several real estate projects throughout the country, with an expertise in

place-making, by creating successful retail environments and public spaces that amenitize and enhance residential, commercial, and cultural uses to become vibrant mixed-use communities. Mr. Lake is a native Washingtonian and has been an active member of the business community

for over 30 years. Prior to co-founding Roadside Development, he was the founding partner of The Retail Group and led Madison Retail Group, a full-service retail brokerage firm that was the dominant leader in the DC and Mid-Atlantic markets. He began his career in real estate as a

broker with Smithy Braedon ONCOR International. He is a graduate of Boston University.

Craig joined Marx Realty as its President and CEO in 2017 and has been responsible for growing

the company as well as streamlining the company’s strategy by focusing on value-add office

investments in three core markets: New York City, Washington D.C. and Atlanta. Craig is also

charged with repositioning Marx’s entire portfolio as well as growing the Marx team and profitability.

Over his 25-year career, Craig has vast experience in every aspect of the real estate industry and

believes in a very hands-on approach. Prior to Marx, he held senior roles at both private equity and

private development companies, including redeveloping over 50 assets in major markets across the

country with a particular emphasis on NY and DC. Craig’s projects have received various awards

from industry groups such as NAIOP, BOMA, Globe St., Crain’s, Washington Business Journal and

AIA. He has been interviewed as a thought and innovation leader in several features in the Wall

Street Journal, CNN, Bloomberg and on CNBC, and was selected as one of the Real Estate Forum’s

Best Bosses of 2019. Craig was named to the 2020 Commercial Observer’s Power 100 List. Craig

previously practiced law in the real estate and litigation departments at Skadden before transitioning

to the business side of the industry.

Craig graduated Cum Laude from Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business (where he

currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Advisory Board) and earned a J.D. at Fordham

University’s School of Law. Craig serves on the Mixed-Use Council of the Urban Land Institute and

on the Strategic Advisory Council of Shadow Ventures, a venture capital firm specializing in

PropTech investments.

Bill Bonstra, FAIA, LEED AP is the founder and managing partner of Bonstra | Haresign Architects, LLP. After distinguishing himself at several

notable Washington, DC design firms, since 2000 he has led the firm in the design and implementation of complex, mixed-use residential and

commercial projects with challenging zoning and historic preservation requirements. His award-winning multi-family work includes Ten at Clarendon,

SoLo Piazza, Q14, The Aston, Woodley Wardman, and the Tapies Condominium. His adaptive use projects include: The Studio Theatre, The

Sanctuary, and CITTA 50. He is currently implementing designs with challenging entitlements for 1600 North Capital Street, NW, the Barrel House,

and a residential tower at 2002 11th Street, NW.

He and his work have been recognized with over 75 national and regional awards for contemporary design of new buildings, renovations, and

adaptive use projects. His work has been featured in over 50 national and regional design publications including the AIA Guide to the Architecture of

Washington, DC - Sixth Edition, Architectural Record, Residential Architect, Builder Magazine, Building Design + Construction, the Washington Post,

ULI/Urban Land, ArchitectureDC, Washingtonian Magazine, and in the Second Edition of James M. Goode’s book Best Addresses, A Century of

Washington’s Distinguished Apartment Houses. For his contributions of exemplary contemporary design promoting and vitalizing historic

neighborhoods in the nation’s capital, he was elevated to the AIA College of Fellows, one of the highest honors bestowed to members of the

architecture profession.

Graduating with honors from the University of Maryland, he continues his academic pursuits as a mentor to young architects at the firm and through

his teaching, lecturing and design jury participation. He is currently teaching a Masters Design Studio at The Catholic University of America. At

Maryland, he is a founding member of the Board of Visitors and Council of Advisors for both the architecture and the real estate development

programs. He established the William J. Bonstra Endowed Scholarship there in 2014. In 2016, he was honored as Maryland Architecture Alumni of

the Year. He is on the Board of Directors of Cultural Tourism DC and the International Student House in Washington, DC. He is a member of the

Cosmos Club in Washington DC.

During his eight years at Goldman Sachs, Peter worked closely with leadership in distribution, investment banking, private wealth, and capital markets with an emphasis on both institutional trading and structured corporate repurchase.
